Lol not really. When you introduce an item only LBH can get where does that leave the player? I've been around for a long ass time.. These silly hunts have destroyed everything that made PIMD fun. At least for me when I started.
Club loyalty was shit before LBH, but those saying LBH's intent is to help smaller clubs complete parties is also false, they're in it for the items. Therefore I'm glad Pimd wants to put a stop to them, there is a true difference between LBH and mercs. Mercs don't hit last bars they go when a party is in jeopardy.
Anya you're right, but I don't know if I want anyone being punished for choosing to play the game a certain way. Maybe I'm just too nice.
That's your choice, but maybe adding a certain amount of hits on parties to get items, or locking clubs automatically at last bar would truly be best. Quite frankly it's always the same top 200 with ridiculous amounts of hunts items because they do nothing but lurk wc looking for last bar hits.
I've seen this said a few time throughout this thread so I'm just repeating it but it's my opinion as well and I'm not gonna just go change my opinion. So, like it was said before, there's no point in complaining about LBH if you don't want them to join don't accept them or lock your own doors at the last bar. It's not like they can actually join the club if no one accepts them, and yes there'll still be clubs that accept them but why does it really matter? That club wanted help, or they chose to accept them for one reason or another. In the end it's their choice, it's not like they're hurting anyone so it shouldn't really matter.
? I suppose everything on the game should be designed to where one can get it no matter what there game style is. I think that's what pimd has been working on, and that's probably the biggest reason people dislike LBH's because they feel like they have to LBH in order to get certain things, so it feels like LBH's are being rewarded. So if pimd made everything even top 200 possible for all game styles including people who hit BL then that'd probably solve the problem. I just have no clue if that's even possible.
@l-_-l is that really fait for the new guys. As they come into the have to have fun and they realize they don't stand a chance of getting it because their damage isn't as high as a person thats LCBC. I still say remove top 200. It will have less ppl trying for lbh or increase the drop rates so ppl stand a chance of getting 3000 without having to merc.
If the drop based on total hits, better I just hit sigh bar then. 9 hit can make buy just 2 regen. That is why I suggest you how many drop based on damage the person did in party.
Again not fair for ppl with low kcs. They can't inflict damage nearly as high as an LCBC. That means an LCBC only has to hit 3-4 times to get reward where a low kcs has to hit 15-20 time to do the same damage.
I do think that the Top 200 tier is being over stated a bit too. It's only one extra item compared to everything else and is designed to be a carrot for those that feel like fighting for it. We purposely put the Premium Avatars in Top 3000 so they were still 'work' to get, but more open to the majority of players. If we really wanted it to be all about Top 200 we'd be putting more carrots in that tier.
The break down is like this: 500 Hunt items = for casual players that still want to take part Top 3000 = average committed player that likes to Hunt Top 200 = the insanity wolves of Pimd that for some reason, really really like a challenge.
Likely already been said but not reading through 42 pages to find out. Performance based rewards just like the cash pay out. Do little - get little. Done deal
As far as LBH goes.. Clubs ask for LBH mercs If you ask for help then think its not fair for them getting the same amount of items, well, suck a thumb. If it wasnt for the LBH mercs then a lot of parties would fail.
Ugh. That posted. I Meant... **big players fighting for the tiny clubs **you can't fault math. Only problem with that is pimd's love of randomness. Didn't get to page 40. Repetition is a real struggle. Lol. Jigglypuff has a good idea with the no items drop on last bar. tying it count-tessa's idea or/and warking's sounds like it could work. Anyway, pimd, y'all need to test! A few short random easy hunts to test some of the logical ideas is key.
That is why I hope the hunt not involve the Pro Parties. Actually, those who 5kcs can make max damage in every hit in Art Skool party. (VIP party and Bro Code party need a person reach 10kcs so that max damage in every hit.) Otaku party I not sure yet. Side Note: The 5kcs people need to hit on pattern. If unload, the damage may low and may failed. Max Damage means 90 - 120 damage in every hit on Snark bar 40 - 60 damage in every hit on Rave bar 30 - 50 damage in every hit on sigh bar 40 - 60 damage in every hit on Lecture bar
@PimD its one extra item per hunt which after years of hunts will actually equal quite a bit. If this was a one off top 200 then sure its no issue but if top 200 is here to stay then after so long the stat
