Maybe do... Most hits gets highest amount of the prizes. That way mercs can't get an unfair advantage, and the party(if struggling) can still be completed. This was probably mentioned already lol, But I didn't read through all comments.
Hunts have ruined home clubs of many players, as during hunts many look for b2b CC and/or LBH. We already lose out on hunt items for only making 2-3 hits, and the best way I see to satisfy the LBH situation is to raise the minimum hit requirement to be at least 20... that can be accomplished by 1 unload if you still want to be a last bar hitter... Anything higher than 25 would still be unfair to those who are fast at completing parties.
Support Chohan's idea-top 200 only fuels Lbh as people try to get more drops in less time to achieve "top" prizes.
Still with you guys, just doing other stuff too. Some interesting ideas. One point I want to clarify is that we track parties by party health, not by 'hits', so thinking in terms of a party being x amount of hits isn't going to help, because that 'x' amount is different for everyone based on their account size, it's kind of core to the game and not really viable to change. Requiring x amount of minimum hits might be possible, but it's not quite as simple as you're thinking. Given how the system tracks party health and damage you're doing to make the bars go down. Think of it more in terms of a boss monster's health bar, the stronger you are, the faster you kill the boss. If you're not quite strong enough to take down the boss on your own, and you elicit the help of a larger player to finish them off, everyone still get their rewards. The larger player isn't taking any of your drops away, they're just enabling you get those drops. Drops aren't 'x amount drops for the party in total, divided up by everyone who did stuff', they're 'you did enough to qualify for a chance of getting stuff and everyone who qualifies gets their own drops'. Basically - they're not taking your drops away, the drops are additive. Just wanted to make sure everyone was understanding that, it kind of feels like you guys are so anti LBH because they're taking stuff away from you. In regards to Top 200, I can see why that makes it more of a 'they're taking stuff away from me' vibe. Top 200 is intended for those going super hard core. For this Hunt, we also made Top 3000 to help out with that. Top 200 is just the crazy train of tiers to aim for.
I agree, take away Top # of awards given to a certain amount of people. That's what causes people to rush for these drops. Also, LBH have no bad impact on anybody except trying to work faster to get their goal of the hunt and helping clubs finish parties. LBH don't just randomly join clubs unless they have advertised. People who don't like LBH are the butthurt who doesn't like it when people have more items than them. They moved around and you stayed in one club and tapped a single party button over and over WOOH! I don't know what you think, but to me, in real life, that's laziness. If you don't like LBH, simply lock your club doors because they don't need you anyways compared to the amount of clubs that do need LBH. I'm not much of an LBH (Check my items, have never won Top anything), but I don't complain about LBH because I see no harm in what they are doing.
I hate top 200 I think it's ridiculous to only give top prizes to a select few ignoring those who also struggled and worked hard during the event. The top dog trophy thing was also a hideous idea in my opinion.
It's a leaderboard thing. That's kind of like saying, get rid of leaderboards, they're impossible to get on.
Actually you guys have given a lot of great feedback. I just wanted to explain how the system works currently because there seemed to be some misconceptions.
Also for top 200 isn't really fair for the low kcs members as most clubs won't accepting them due to their stats. So they have no chance of getting top 200. Remove top 200 and make it fair for everyone.
I agree with cherry. Some of us actually have a life and responsability to our home clubs. Lbhs need admins to let them in, just as much as we need them to help us in a party. Rewards shouldn't be based on how many parties you can hit in the shortest amount of time. Tier prizes are fine. Getting 10k more prizes than required is not awesome. It just shows some peoples lives are really effected by this game
What about a leaderboard for the top clubs? In the hunts This would minimize people leaving maybe? And all the club members could get rewards ?
The problem is for me it's a 17 plus game. Indicating that most of us have well, college or jobs or other lovely things we have to do...no matter how hard we work and operate we will never be able to achieve certain tiers because well simply, real life is just more important. According to my life it's actually easier for me to sit in a club and hit a party when I can, then to hop around and try to do lbh. I tried doing lbh once. It's actually really annoyingly difficult and time consuming.
