I believe hunts are optional...however you still get a lot of drops from doing lbh if ata resets their current system goes with the club loyalty that way it's even for people who choose to support their club and then if you choose to lbh and merc then you get your drops and have fun meeting new people meanwhile everyone who is on all day to work for the items gets the reward for their effort
LBH isn't the problem. Low hits receiving items is. There should be a minimum number of hits required to win the items. (Not most hits get more cuz then you just get people dning to get more) but like it is now, where you hit and get said number of item dropped. Just alter it so drops only happen if you hit a minimum number (ex: 20) of times.
Exactly as Zach said. If you merc from club to club to 'help' them complete and not reward yourself as a lbh, you're not losing out. If you stay in your home club and help out without leaving so they don't require merc help, you're rewarded. There's no punishment in his suggestion, just a reward for loyalty. And seems that quite a lot of people agree that drops should be based on number of hits for everyone. If a lbh or normal club member drops 6 notes, they get max reward. If they hit twice they get nada. Seems fair to me. Not sure why that's objectionable
i liked the idea if getting inreasing counters … what i would lik to add s… a player shld lose 5% of drop everytime he or leaves a club … that mreans the more hopping may result in zero drops
items.drop randomly. if they made it drop for a.certain amount of hits people would dn their hearts out. I rarely get drops and frankly i am not that bothered by it.
I still supports war-kings idea. It's about time Pimd made a hunt about clubs and not individuals. Partying is a team effort, it would be nice to get rewarded for team spirit. Last bar hitters are helpful but not when they only intend to hit 3-5 times for drops.
? That's very true. In actuality, as much as I like the reward for loyalty thing. It sucks for mercs. And then people would just hole up in one club and then leave once they get what they want. That doesn't really increase club loyalty, even tho it benefits those that have already been loyal And yes, why is it that you get more drops the more you hit. That seems like the fairest thing in the work because you're actually contributing more. Just because you do more damage with one hit doesn't mean you're a bigger contributor than someone who tries their hardest by giving 20 hits but has lower stats. You can increase drops for those who stay in their clubs, but make the drop rate increase per hit first. That being said there should be a limit for how high your drop increase can be. Or better yet the more parties you participate in at one club the greater your stat boost. So what I'm saying is... Set the drop rate for items by number of hits. If you consistently hit in the max drop zone for a certain number of parties at one club THEN you get a drop increase. And there's only one drop increase. Once you change clubs, you lose that drop increase but again if you stay at the new club, after you've hit a certain number of parties consistently in the max drop zone then you get that drop increase yet again.
Speaking as a former longtime merc I actually hate War-Kings idea. If you have no home club you're pretty much just bouncing around to different clubs and don't want feel pigeon-holed into sticking with one club you may not even be to sold on, and I'll argue the point of this game isn't to be locked into clubs or groups but rather to play the game in whatever way bests suits you and the time you have available. Not to mention, what of those club members who leave their clubs in order to quickly help out a friend? You get penalized for assisting and while everyone likes to romanticize clubs a decrease in the amount of clubs out there (which by the way helps ensure there is diversity and variety in the game) and players merging, this isn't going to happen. Clubs still fail consistently and I have yet to see any clubs merge—because that issue resides in people wanting to be in charge/admins and people aren't just going to bow out and give up that sort of power and responsibility. LBH aren't the issue as a whole. It's people (LBH and lazy, "big hitter" perm members) that ARE the problem. Getting as much reward with their paltry number of hits as any other "loyal" member (perm or LBH).
Um no not all clubs kick for inactivity currently mine does not we may go there but if the zachs idea is implemented u doubt you'd have clubs kicking their perms or needing to kick at all like that
yea one thing ppl really need to keep out r them.ppl who hide in a club and only hit for a cc or a eh the new bikini one
And there should be a cap on how many drops you can get obviously. Like once you pass like 50 hits there's no increase in drop rate.
I've Merced at clubs that are top clubs that have a high amount of active members, but a high number are from one region or another so when half of the club is asleep even highly active and functional clubs can end up needing help. Tho I totally agree about there being WAY too many clubs. I liked in the old days when there was only a couple and u knew all the clubs out there and who was in what club. Club friendships and alliances, wars, all that good stuff.... Anyway my nostalgia is getting the better of me. I digress... This might stop people who do want to try and start new good clubs tho.
@Peyton there would be a number of hits required for max drops that is reachable without using DN's, the drops wouldn't just keep scaling up to 300 hits
Make it so if someone has only hit Last Bar they get like 5 promposals while someone that hits whole party & made most of the effort gets the normal drop amount. That way you only get what you worked for
But what about those people who are simply busy through out the whole hunt and then towards the end they suddenly decided they want to reach the requirement? The only way they can do this is by going mercing for LBH. It's a part of the game and a feature some take advantage off. Let it be guys.
