late Presents Draco held Lily on his lap playing with her hair on the way back to Hogwarts. How he had missed her. He hoped she would be allowed to stay over his in summer. He sighed realizing that was impossible his parents alone with Lucy for a few minutes that would be a disaster. He never wanted to see Lucy hurt especially by anyone he knows. Lucy stirred beginning to wake up. Lucy snuggled closer into his chest. He smiled as he watched her wake up. "Morning Sleepyhead." He whispered "I got you a present." "What?" Lucy mumbled "Sorry I didn't hear you. What did you say?" Draco chuckled softly. "I said I got you a present." Draco repeated. "But it's not my birthday or Christmas." Lucy said confused. "It's a late Christmas Present." Draco replied. "Oh." Lucy said. Draco passed her a small rectangle box. Lucy opened it and gasped. "D-Draco it's beautiful!" Lucy smiled giving Draco a hug. It was a silver necklace with Lucy and a green snake going through the letters of her name.
Back to Hogwarts "Welcome back to Hogwarts one and all. We hope you had a Merry Christmas..." Dumbledore continued to speak. "Does he not shut up?" Crabbe asked. Lucy, Draco and Goyle chuckled. "Guess what I found out on the train home!" Lucy exclaimed. "What?!" Draco, Crabbe and Goyle asked at the same time. "Pansy is going out with Weasley!" Lucy giggled. "Thought she had better taste than that." "So did I." Draco smirked. Crabbe and Goyle look at eachother as the food appears. "Yum! Can we eat?" They asked. Draco and Lucy chuckled. "Didn't you eat enough on the train?" Draco teased. "As a reminder the Forbidden Forest is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a painful death..." Dumbledore continued. "What if we do?" Lucy joked. "No. I wouldn't allow that Miss Snape." Draco replied. Lucy smiled. "Sweet." Lucy said lovingly. Draco smiled back. "That is all. now enjoy!" Dumbledore finished. "At last!" Crabbe and Goyle let out a sigh of relief and started piling their plates up.
