  3. Chapter 5:
Ten minutes, that's how long it took. Ten! Ten minutes for me to met him. To know him, to desire him. To want him. Once we started talking, it was like a new world had opened up. I could always escape from the world I used to live in and go to a new world with him.

We started talking about him. He was cool, he had a lot going for him. He kept making jokes and making me laugh. It was like he was a whole new person. But no matter what, I kept my fist ready and took glances at my door.

He started talking about his future. Then, I told him that I was going to move to Paris, before the 'accident.' He said he was sorry, but I tried to cheer him up and say it was okay. That I moved on, but I couldn't, Becca meant more than me. Weather he knew it or not.

He totally knew I was lying. 'Don't lie to me, that necklace that she had. It didn't look like nothing. Especially, when I yelled at him after she died. I asked him about that night, he got quiet.

'I have a question about you' he wrote to me. I looked at the text. He had a question for me? I thought about it, then typed. 'What is it?' I asked. I waited for a text, nothing. Hmm, I thought. Now that I completely thought about the question, I should have said no.

Then, he responded 'has anyone told you that you were beautiful?' What?! The.... the first.... Wow. Besides my dad and my sister, Nate was the only one who technically just called me..... beautiful.

'You think I'm beautiful?' I asked. I crossed my fingers and hoped he would say no. But a part of me wanted him to say, yes. It felt like hours before he texted back. 'Yeah, am I the first one? To call you that?' he asked.

Yes, but I couldn't tell him that. Ummm, I thought. Finally, I texted 'I don't know you enough to tell you that.' I let out a sigh, that was close. 'Your right, maybe one day we can met and get to know each other. You wanta?' he asked.

Shit, I can't met my best friends killer. Even texting him was horrible to think about. No, no Megan. Just say no, but he's a killer. He might threaten me to. I don't want to die, like Becca. For nothing. If I go, I might die. If I don't, he'll come and kill me.

Then, I texted 'sure, where to?' I asked. This was the stupidest thing I ever did. Good bye, life. Good bye Friday's. Good bye, love. Good bye, Lucy.

If only I knew, that meting will bring more problems for me, but most of all. Bring me love and happiness.

Sorry, it got a little girlie:)

  10. Chapter 6:
It's been two days since that night. We were gonna met today for the first time. I was totally convinced that he WASN'T my best friends killer. He was now my best guy friend!

I texted him if he was already there. I kept my dads small gun in my purse if I needed any help. He texted back 'I'm already here, we are table 5.'

I walked to the cafe where we were suppose to met up. I looked at my clock, oh yeah. Five minutes late. Usually, I would be on time, but Lucy needed a babysitter.

I arrived at the cafe and looked for Nate. I haven't seen him since that night. Never seen any pictures of him either. There he was at table 5 in a suit. A suit! I looked at my outfit. I was wearing shorts and a big purple shirt. He still had that same smile when we met at the theater. He goes nothing.

I walked up to him, then I noticed his hair cut. It was a little shorter than before, showing his face more. He still looked hot, did just say that? I got to the table and he stood up immediately and pulled out my chair. "Here you go," he said and gestured me to the seat. I sat down in it and he sat in his.

"Sorry, I didn't know I was suppose to dress up." I said looking at everyone in fancy clothes. I looked like I was about to go to the beach. He shook his head, "no it's fine I forgot to tell you to." I nodded and looked at the menu.

After dinner, we walked around on familiar streets. He took my hand and started asking about me. "What do you want to do in this big world?" He asked. I thought about the question. "I want to change it, "I said. He stopped and stared at me. "I want to make it better," I said, thinking about Becca.

Then, he asked me about Becca. I had a lot to say, because she was the best. And she was my best friend. Once we were done talking he walked me home. I could tell the babysitter left, because she left the keys under the matt.

He let go of my hand and said good night. He took out his hand for me to shake. I pushed it out of the way and he stared at me confused. I quickly wrapped my arms around him in a big huge. It took him a while, but he finally softly wrapped his arms around my waist. I pulled away slowly, but he stopped me. He pulled me into a kiss, but I didn't stop him.

The door opened and it was my dad, in his uniform. "Oh hello," he said surprisingly at the guy who was about to kiss me. "Daddy," I said a little annoyed. Nate laughed and said, "Good afternoon officer." He wasn't afraid of him at all, considering my dad was searching for him. Cause he did kill my best friend.

"Afternoon to you to, may I talk my daughter off your hands?" He asked. Nate nodded and waved goodbye. "Good night, Nate." I said as he walked away. Then, I slid between my dad and the door. Little did I know, my dad was angry and right on Nate's trail.
