I am joining the National Guard in 5 months and i find it rude that people would not think of us as military. Just because your not active duty or a gunslinger doesnt mean you are not important dont forget that when you are deployed overseas regardless of your job you could find yourself in combat and it takes a lot of courage and love for your country to join any branch and any job in the military
I could've sworn that was an American saying. Sorry for going off topic. Great thread Ninja! I support and respect our troops 200%
In mutt book a log is a pencil pusher. And while there job is important in or armed services an infantry man has every right to claim his stake. And so what if he makes fun of you for being a pog. Grow a pair and deal with it. Semper Fi
I was a U.S. Cavalry Scout, I found out early that the best friends you can have are those in supply and cooks.
If I wasn't for the cooks you'd have to eat those nasty packaged MREs everyday. without custodial military staff, you'd be responsible for cleaning up areas you don't wish too.
This is a rant..? The only person that could give a true rant was Chloe. (Goldialocks for you new peeps)
I just can't come up with a reason on WHY you would serve...leaving your family back home, never seeing your kids or significant other and not to mention the pay....no thanks. I'll stay here.
you don't leave your familyunless you're deployed to war if I'm not mistaken. your family is able to move with you if they decide(wife/husband and kids).
Hmmm and not to mention that a majority of the men cheat on their wives and vice versa... Bunch of dogs. I speak the truth and hear accounts first hand from friends who served.
If you get deployed it's usually in a war zone. And no your family can't move there. On the other hand if your mother/father gets stationed some where they can bring there family along. That's what happened to me ?
My father was stationed where he could bring us. And people cheat regardless of service to their country.
and when I said family moves with you, I figured people would understand that is to where you're station and not war zone.
