Vick gets hurt because he's not tough, it's that simple. What officials call him has nothing to do with it. Maybe a part of his injury troubles are because he runs the ball half the time due to not being confident in his pass (and rightfully so), but that's still his fault, it has nothing to do with officials.
I'll agree with that, him and Brady. They catch every call. But tbat leaves Vick and 29 other starting quarterbacks, and none of those other 29 have as much injury trouble as Vick. Irrelevant stat there. Oh, and great pass Vick! Looking impressive! Cleveland's ball going the other way.
Any way, saying Vick isn't tough isn't right. He continues to go back into the game time and time again knowing he will continue to get a beating with his mediocre line letting people get through untouched. He never complains about not getting calls or speak negatively of any teammate he takes it in stride.
And the lefty statement... I think I know 6 year olds with better common sense than that
Also, running quarterback have proven to be hall of famers. An excellent example would be Steve Young. Speed matters for the style of offensive a team runs.
Yeah, Vick goes Back in the game... After an off season to rest and heal from the injuries he got from basic hits. Sounds like a really tough dude. Didn't he miss a game because he hit his finger on a guys helmet or something? Hahahahahahhah sounds tough
You can also belittle the pocket passer as hall of gamer with examples of Rex Grossman, Kyle Orton, and Jake Delhomme. Learn to make a valid point with proper examples. I didn't say all running quarterbacks are hall of famers.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Donovan McNabb did make the HOF he was a great quarterback in his time.
Quarterbacks need to be good passers first. Nobody drafts a quarterback because of their speed. Quarterbacks throw, runningbacks run. If your quarterback runs enough that his running is notable, that tells you a few things. First, you have him at the wrong position. (unless they're a god quarterback that can do everything. And nobody is, let alone like vick), it also tells you that he's failing to complete the given play and resorting to those sneaks quite often. I guess in a way, you're right. Some teams' offenses need quarterbacks with speed. teams' offenses with quarterbacks who can't throw, and a coach telling them to throw.
