What kind of smoking? I'll assume you mean cigarettes, in that case there is no question they are bad for you. It has been well proven that smoking cigarettes can kill you or at least reduce your lung function if it doesn't kill you. No debate there, just well understood facts.
Smoking is a very bad habit, and very expensive. I smoke, and I'm not proud of it. I've burned my lungs from smoking to much, smoking a cigarette take 7-11 minutes. I would advise you not to start smoking. It does no good, and it doesn't make you look cool, your a fool if you think smoking makes you look cool.
smoking is bad, it can kill you after a while because of cancer, gangrene, etc... but smoking affects people in different ways, because some people might not be affected by the poisons in cigarettes and some are easily affected.

Smoking cigarettes causes mouth and lung cancer, as well as emphysema and a whole bunch of other stuff that can KILL YOU. Marijuana however has no records of people dying from the drug itself, or people getting cancer. It is just a plant, that in the end happens to make you high when you burn it. HOWEVER Marijuana is illegal while cigarretes are not Your choice mate, Die or Get Arrested
