23rd street was under 6-8 feet of water. Not really a joke..

 

I'm in upstate NY.... Not really bad here just some crazy wind 

 

Also in upstate...lots of wind and occasional rain on and off

 

And NYC being under water is no supprise considering they are barely above sea level...if someone sneezes they are under water 

 

Does anyone really care about ny?

 

Upper East Side... No power outage. I heard the east river flooded to York and the east side to 1st upto 25th. Its spreading out now... Only lost lower manhattan for a bit... NJ was hit bad, 2nd floor of apartments were ruined.

 

I have a lot of friends who live up in that area and I'm really worried about them :/

 

Glad that all the posters here are safe. Anyone heard from Winn? News reports over here are showing pics and it looks scary. Hope you all escaped damage.

Woke up with power back on in Connecticut. All is well here. How is NY, Maryland, and New Jersey doing?

 

Western still has power here. No school though.

 

Idk if my school is closed but my mother is making me stay home. 
I got important stuff to do.

 

New Yorkers are tough and will survive anything.
Re Jersey Shore several sections of the boardwalk are gone This will limit the area where Snookie can pass out. Friends evacuated their Parents in land, stating main floor flooded
