iOS for fingerprint detection, note-taking and other default organization capabilities, iTunes, Podcast app, camera, security, and smooth-running apps. (I got an iPhone yesterday and couldn't figure out how to delete shortcuts from my homescreen without deleting the whole app... What mess?) Android for flexibility, not having your phone know everything about you (bye bye 1984), affordable repairs, stronger screen, larger screen, larger on-screen keyboard, no siri, more battery life. Though androids can have better everything than iOS phones, they tend not to.
I got an Android not too long ago and I took it to the grocery store. When I got home it asked me to rate the store I had just visited. I had to disable location services. Has never happened with my iPhone. Though, really, you can be tracked with any device these days regardless of brand. And screen size really just depends on the phone you own. My iPhone screen is larger. ?
I'm just mad over how overly exclusive the Apple club is. "You can only develop iOS apps on an Apple device" FOK OFF DAMNIT.
It’s probably to prevent too many apps from being made. Since with android, there are so many apps to choose from, some are pretty shït and some are pretty decent.
There's no point debating on this. So people are comfortable with iOS and some with android. Use what you are comfortable with.
Nobody keeps their location on except for Snap and Insta thots... the same thing could've happened if you had your location on with an iPhone. (Snap gives you more filters with your location on, for those of you who don't know about it.)
In my experience and knowledge, iPhones prompt you whether to allow or not allow an app to use your location information. It doesn't do it automatically (as far as I know at least). But as I said, I'm pretty sure any device can be tracked even if all location services are turned off.
My iPhone 8 costed me like $100 the day I got it obviously I have a bill but walking out that day I spent like $109 it was before the X and all that crap came out.
