CHAPTER 8: The next day, Nikki texted Charlie to ask him what was going on but he never replied. She was hoping he was all right, even though she was pissed he didn't answer. She was hoping to find out who the hell killed John and why Charlie recognized him? ----------------------------------- Charlie knew what he had to do. So he set out on the hunt that meant life or death for the whole town. He had one place set on his mind so he headed out into the woods to find it. It was an old cabin deep in the thicker part of the woods. He had found it one time on a full moon when he had turned into a wolf. And d*** did he hate that. He hated being a werewolf. It was a kill joy on the great life he had before he was turned. Why did she have to bite him. He thought Jack was the best girl in the world until he found out she used him. She wanted him to be a werewolf with her all along, just so she had someone, but she didn't have to make him one too. When he got to the cabin, he looked around the whole outside to see if there had been any recent activity. When he saw nothing, he went up the front steps and opened the door that was ajar a little. He tried to be as quiet as possible opening the door. Since he was turned, he has been able to smell things in a more heightened sense and when he walked in, the smell that hit him was pure death. "Uh, who the f*** died in this hell hole." "I did," someone said to Charlie. "Danny." "Why hello Charlie, I'm so glad to see you. I was starting to think you would never find me." "Well it wasn't hard to smell your a**," Charlie says with a disgusted look. "Well, I do smell rather nice, don't I?" "Ok, cut the crap, why the hell are you in town?" Charlie snapped. "Well, I was just visiting. I wanted to see how much things have changed since i was last here. They sure have changed. You have recruited more of the supernatural into town. I like it! So, have you come here to accept my offer yet?" "No, and I never will. And I won't let you kill or recruit anymore people than you already have. You do not need to destroy this town for your own purposes." "Well, if you won't join me, you are officially no use to me anymore," Danny says and lunges at Charlie. Charlie avoids the attack and goes all badass werewolf on this freak. He snarls at him and bites his shoulder as Danny misses another attack. But Danny kicks him in the chest to get Charlie off his shoulder. Charlie hits the ground like a rock as the breathe is knocked out of his lungs. He gasps for more air when Danny grabs him by the hair and tosses him across the room and into a bookshelf with his vampire strength. "F***!" Charlie swears, holding his side as he gets up. "Are you ready to die yet my little, stupid, Charlie? You are wasting all my patience and time on this pointless fight." "FU!" Charlie yells as he jumps and lands on Danny and hits his head into the tile floor with a huge crack! "Yes, we are done now." Charlie says kicking Danny's head to make sure.
CHAPTER 9: After Charlie left the cabin, he finally looked at his phone that had went off earlier. He had a text from Nikki asking him what was going on. "S***," he said. That was the last person he wanted to know about what was going on around town. He is going to have to break it to her now though. I hope she doesn't take it wrong when I tell her she is the one they are after. She is said to have powers no one has ever possessed before. And she wasn't just Nikki, she has also gone by other names in the past. She is a reincarnation a witch from the Salem Witch Trials. She doesn't know it yet, but she probably can get to some of that power already. She would be useful to Danny, so I really need to kill him now before he gets his hands on her power. Charlie texts Nikki back saying," I will come by your house if you want me to tell you everything." ----------------------------------- Nikki gets the text and tells him to come over ASAP. She doesn't want her mom or dad to come home and find him at their house. ----------------------------------- The doorbell rings and Nikki opens the door, letting Charlie come inside. "Okay, what's going on?" She demands. "It didn't take you long to ask when I just got in the front door," Charlie says and laughs," Can I sit down, because there is A Lot to tell you." "Let's go in the kitchen," she says and leads him into the kitchen and grabs them stools. "Okay, here it goes," he says feeling nausea all of a sudden,"have you ever read books or stories about vampires, werewolves, or witches?" "Yes, why? Did my childhood nightmares finally come true?" "Yes,... They just did." He answers her blankly. "Oh, great, and what, are they all roaming the town?" she asked being a smart a**. "Yes, and one is trying to find you because you belong in that category." Nikki just stares at him like a bomb just went off. "Why, what am I?" she asks nervously. "Your a witch from the Salem Witch Trials that has been reincarnated. You possess powers unimaginable to vampires and werewolves, and some wish to have that power. The man that killed John, his name is Danny. He wants to use you for his own purposes." Charlie explains, watching Nikki having a hard time taking all of it in. After minutes go by, Nikki finally processes all of the information. "And how do you know all this?" "I am a werewolf, helping a damsel in distress." "Wait, how am I a witch but I don't have a wand or know how to use my powers if I am as old as you tell me?" "Every lifetime you come back, you forget how to use your powers until you are ready and they will start to come back to you. Have you felt any funny feelings yet? Do you have any witchy abilities yet?" "I can sense when something is wrong, when people are keeping secrets. I never knew I had powers like that though. I started feeling them when I moved here." "Okay, now we have to see if you can tap into anymore of that power." "What power would that be for one?" "Psychic abilities." "Okay let's get started," Nikki says, more eager than Charlie had expected.
