Then yeah, that is something every women should get. HPV is so easy to contract, hundreds of strains, but the HPV injection protects against the most common ones, half which can cause cancer, the other half can cause warts. One strain cannot cause both, it's one or the other. I had one of the cancer strains, but thankfully never developed cancer.
Personally I hate needles. Like so much that as soon as I see one I wanna cry. And I usually do.. :$ Some people would classify it a phobia but I'm not too sure. Anywho, just think of something funny or have someone talk to you and distract you while it's going on. That helps me.
Cough as she puts the needle in, coughing is scientifically proven to render pain redundant for as long as you cough, I don't know why or how but it works
I hate getting shots too But this is what I do I just look at the needle and ignore the pain .... Well it's not even pain! It's just like a little pinch then it goes away. Yea I know it hurts but you are going to have to fight it . Well for you I guess you should just think of something else and then soon it will be over
Same. My school has those injections to make sure we won't catch a new disease like H1N1... So... They're not painful. Think of them like small misquitos, closing your eyes shut does a lot of help. But I wouldn't know since I'm immune to physical pain, like bruises, scratches, injections, bites and scars. All part of life Beth, just remind yourself a little injection won't kill you. That really helps for me.
For me, I just close my eyes and wait for the pain to come. (I close my eyes to imagine I'm relaxing) eh now H1N1 nt so much people infected Ma?-_"
I had these last year hun theres nothing to be scared about the nurses distract you by talking to you or making you laugh and they shake your arm that way you feel nothing
Shaking your arm won't work. It'll have a BAAAADDF EFFECT on you. BAD. You have to be still or else the... Injection thing won't work.
I hated injections when I went to school everyone got sick the next day after the day of injections because apparently the needles weren't sterilized
emma needles can kill you even if it is for injections to prevent diseases. about 5 years ago (I was year 10) about 1/3 of the students were at hospital due to unsterilized needles
