  9. CHAPTER 35: Running

    Alexandra stared in horror at Angel for a split second before bolting out of the room with Damon. They both heard heavy footsteps enter the room behind them. Damon quickly slowed down, and told Alexandra to run. She shook her head, and he gave her the most horrible glare, and told her to run once more.

    She finally listened and ran out the door onto the dark bricked road, and began sprinting down it. She smelt a burning a smell coming from the way she came, and looked back quickly. She saw the house catching on fire, and Damon quickly running out of it, as an explosion rocked the entire street. She ran for her life down the empty street.

    She turned the corner quickly, and ran into a dark ally. She almost was to the end until someone caught hold of her hair, and threw her against a garbage can. She crashed and banged her head on a brick wall behind her. She quickly turned her head to Damon running past the ally, and heard his steps go further and further away from her. She tried yelling for him, but a figure stepped out of the shadows and covered her mouth with one hand, while the other was holding her blood soaked hair. She cried out in pain as the figure threw her onto the broken beer bottle covered ground.

    Her head finally healed and she moaned as she attempted getting up. Alexandra thought the dark figure was gone, but she was quickly pinned onto the ground. She cried out in pain once more, as the glass punctured her skin again. The ally began spinning as the sun finally shined down upon her. Alexandra could finally reconize the face. It was Danny.

  11. CHAPTER 36: Disadvantages

    "You know what the best part about Immortals is? They never die, no matter what you do to them!" Danny yelled as he pressed against her cold body with a broken piece of glass. Alexandra screamed into his hand as he repeatively stabbed her in the chest.

    Danny pressed against her fighting body harder and harder, and he stabbed her in the chest as soon as the wound healed. Alexandra screamed in agony as she tried to fight back. Even slowing down time around her wouldn't help her.

    Danny finally stopped the stabbing and pinned her down once again. He got inches from her face and said, "Join us, or I will torture you for the rest of your miserble life." Alexandra's face grew dark and no response came from her. Coldness filled the air, and snow came flying out of the sky and landed on both of them. Danny raised the piece of glass and aimed for stabbing her stomach. Alexandra quickly went numb, and ice formed all around them. The piece of glass flew down to Alexandra and suddenly, only an inch away, Danny's arm froze.

    Danny cried out in agony as his arm froze. He quickly stepped off Alexandra and fell back onto the ground as he slipped on the ice. Alexandra quickly jumped up off the ground, and pinned Danny down. "Don't you EVER touch me again. Someday, when I'm stronger, I WILL hunt you, I WILL find you, and I WILL kill you." she spat as her eyes grew darker and darker. Alexandra quickly froze Danny to the ground and reached into his jacket pocket. Both rings were there, and she quickly pulled them out. Alexandra stepped off Danny and looked into his terrified eyes.

    "Goodbye Danny, trust me... We will meet again." Alexandra quietly wispered. She quickly turned around and ran off into the empty streets searching for Damon.

  14. CHAPTER 37: Shock

    Alexandra felt the icy snow hit her cold face as she ran down the street. Everyones lights were off, no one was driving, there was absolutely nothing happening. All you could hear was Alexandra's steps and breathing as she ran and ran, attempting to find Damon. A sound from a distant ally made her stop suddenly.

    Alexandra inched her way to the ally, and peeked her head into it as she hid in the shadows. She heard a faint sound, and saw a young looking couple passionately kissing. The boy was pushing the young looking girl against the ally wall as they ran their hands through each others hair.

    Alexandra took a step foward, and suddenly, a huge breaking sound came from her feet as she stepped on glass. The boy quickly looked up, and light shone on his and the girl's face. Alexandra gasped in pure shock. "Charlie?" She quickly wispered.

    He quickly went back to kissing the girl, and the kiss got more intense. The worst wasn't seeing Charlie kiss someone. It was the someone that made it so much more worse than it was. The girl was Ever.

  15. CHAPTER 38: The Truth

    Alexandra's eyes and face grew dark as she saw her lovely brother kiss the one she hated most. She had a deep feeling that Charlie liked Ever. He had been acting strange towards Ever, ever since he let her live.

    Snow came down faster and faster, and Alexandra took a step towards Charlie and Ever. She reached them finally and attempted pushing Ever away from Charlie. She couldn't let Charlie's lips touch that monster anymore. Alexandra thought she had pushed Ever hard, but ended up going through her and ending up crashing against the brick wall.

    Alexandra groaned as she finally figured out that her horrible mind played a trick on her once again. She wished all of this was just her mind tricking her. She wished all of this would go away, except her lovely Damon, and friends and family.

    Alexandra slid down the wall, unable to run anymore. She was lost, in a huge dangerous city. She rested her head against the brick, and closed her eyes for a bit. "Come find me Damon" Alexandra quietly wispered into the empty cold air.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A few miles away from Alexandra, Damon was sitting in the shadows, gasping for air. He ran so far and so fast. He thought Alexandra would be somewhere in the area, but she was nowhere to be found. He rested his head against the bench he was sitting on, and closed his eyes.
    Through the air, Damon heard a faint voice, "Come find me Damon" was all it said. His eyes shot open as he began to focus all of his energy on Alexandra. He saw her sitting in a dark ally, only a few miles from him. Damon quickly stood up off the bench and began walking back the way he came. He felt that the danger was gone, and finally felt safe for once.
