Since I'm bored and can't sleep....here's an update! Two in one day! yay! Enjoy! ______________________________ After a dreadful 30 minutes of listening to other people's conversation, the bell to go to second period rang. 'Thank god I thought I was gonna die!' I thought as I waited for everyone to pile out the door. I checked my schedule. My second period was gym. I headed outside to the girl's locker room and put my bag in an empty locker. We didn't have to change since it was our first day. All the girls that had gym came in loudly talking and laughing to each other. After everyone had put their stuff away we all went outside and into the building that was the gym. We were separated into 3 different classes based on what teachers we had. The teacher told us the rules and all that boring stuff and then had us play basketball or sit down for the rest of the gym class. I sat down and put in my headphones. Good thing I brought my iPod with me. It made the time go by quicker. I was so into my music and thoughts that I didn't notice a basketball bouncing right towards me. I had my music loud so I couldn't hear the shouts of "look out!" and "watch it!" coming from the guys playing ball. The ball hit me in the face with a thud and landed in my lap. "Ow!" I rubbed the spot were the ball hit me. "I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" a voice asked me. "Yeah I'm fine." I said quietly and handed the person the ball without looking up. "Are you sure?" He bent down and looked at my face. I felt a little bit uncomfortable with him being that close. "Yeah, I'm sure." I looked at him. His eyes were a beautiful greenish blue color. He had straight short reddish orange hair(really nice hair I might add), and he wore a worried look on his face. Then he smiled. He had a really cute smile. "My name's Mason, what's your name?" he asked, still smiling. "My name's Jazmine." I replied shyly. "Hey ginger! Throw the ball!" some kid called. "Well gotta go. It was nice meeting you Jazmine." He grinned and stood up. "Nice meeting you too." I said, smiling. He waved and jogged back to the group of kids waiting for him. They continued their game of basketball and I played my music again. I made sure I payed attention this time, in case another ball decided to come my way. Soon everyone started leaving the gym. The third period bell had rung. I got up and followed them back to the locker rooms where we got our stuff and went to third period. My third period was art class. I found the art room and picked a table to sit at where there was no one sitting. It was a big rectangular table, it could fit six people. Just then four girls walked in. "Let's sit together." I heard one say. I glance around the room. The only table that would fit all of them together was........mine >.< 'oh great' I thought. "Let's sit at that table." said another one of the girls. She pointed to my table. I knew it. I avoided eye contact as they sat at the table. All four of them were the stereotypical barbie girls I was talking about. Except 3 of them were brunette like me. The fourth one was blonde. Just the way they talked irritated me. I sat there annoyed the whole period. I couldn't put my music in cuz the teacher was talking the whole time and I didn't want to be rude. I tried to ignore them, and looked around the room observing the people. Yeah, I did that a lot, I don't know why, I just did. It was a habit, I guess. I froze when I saw the same kid from my gym class. Mason was his name. I remembered that name because I really liked it. It was a good guy's name. He noticed me looking at him and I saw that he looked surprised. I guess he wasn't expecting me to be in this class with him. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Third period ended and it was time for lunch. 'Yes, time to meet Melanie and have lunch.' I thought excitedly. But my excitement was soon crushed when I spotted Melanie coming out of the cafeteria with some girls. She was talking and laughing with them. What was she doing coming out of the cafeteria? Didn't she say she had B lunch with me? So why was she coming out of A lunch? She spotted me and waved. She told the girls to wait for her and she came to talk to me. "Why are you coming out of A lunch?" I asked her. "Well, they changed my schedule because they put me in the wrong class by accident, so it changed the lunch I had too. Now I have A lunch instead of B lunch. Sorry." she explained not even looking upset. I, on the other hand was very upset. "What?! So who'd you eat lunch with?" I asked. "Oh some friends in my previous classes." she replied nonchalantly. "Well who am I supposed to eat lunch with now?!" I was freaking out inside. She shrugged. "I don't know, you'll figure something out. But listen I gotta get to class, I'm gonna be late if I don't hurry. Talk to you later!" she walked back over to her friends and they walked away talking and laughing. I watched her disappear. I was about to have a full blown heart attack. I stared at the cafeteria. I thought about skipping lunch but my growling stomach made me rule out that decision really quick. I was starving. There was no way that I could skip lunch. I couldn't concentrate on an empty stomach, and I wouldn't risk my stomach growling in class. That would be embarrassing. 'I'm gonna have to go in there sooner or later' I thought. I gulped and swallowed the lump in my throat. 'Here goes nothing' I thought shakily as I opened the cafeteria door and stepped inside. ______________________________ What'd you guys think? A little more interesting right? Don't worry they'll keep getting better and better! I just had to get the plot going, but I promise it'll keep getting better! Hope you enjoyed it!
