I really should update this.. No, turn back. What are you doing? This is crazy. Turn. Back! My mind protested, but I only tightened the grip on the leather steering wheel. Alison was my friend, and though she might not remember me, I'm still her friend. I made a turn, and sped through the busy highway, eventually coming to a halt. I got off the car, and made my way into the huge white building. My hands shook as I pressed the up button on the elevator, and I thought of running back when I crossed the hallway, my sneakers squeaking. I sat down beside Zander quietly, and he looked up. Then I saw it. He hadn't seen the video yet. His eyes weren't angry or betrayed, but rather, he seemed...sad. "Hey," I said quietly. "Hey." he looked down on his hands, and shuffled some papers, "Look...I want to be honest with you so I won't hide anything," Oh ****. What if he really DID know? "We....found some papers at the apartment of Ali's friend. She was staying there...and it has some thing to do with you." he handed me some papers, and I took it with trembling hands. Did he know? "I didn't read it, only the first. Figured you'd want to read it," he said, then he stood up and left. I glanced down at the papers in my hands. There was Alice's neat handwriting, the words popping out like they couldn't wait for me to read them. So I did. I met the ***** that ruined my brother. So she was all sad, getting stood up maybe, when I approached her. Of course I was cheery and nice -- I am SUCH a good actress, really. And she ate it all up. Every single bit. We totally painted the walls with graffiti. Hey, I gotta get her to trust me first. xxxxx, Alison - SHE WAS SO WASTED TONIGHT. Gawd, it was almost EMBARRASSING for me.
