Oh i had a therapist suggest this to me a few months ago, she said to do it for at least a month to form the habit of it. Said it could even be something as simple as a delicious cup of coffee you had one morning.
True. It's so hard to recognize the good stuff like that. I tried doing this a few times and could never quite think of 5 but I guess part of the point is just always finding a few good things to acknowledge.
Yeah exactly! My therapist brought this up as well and it was really hard to go really broad or specific things about myself but some of mine the last few days have literally just been like, I'm grateful for my heated blanket and animals 😂
They had this come up in Big Mouth as the gratitoad and I loved it. Like it’s not something that comes naturally and even feels uncomfortable at first but it really does work wonders. 🥰
