Evangelina~ "Tell me more about this LeeAnne..." I took out a book from the shelf, still slightly stunned at the sudden and unexpected apperance. "Oh, nice to meet you Angeltia by the way" I took the book that I had picked out over to a pale brown arm chair and sat down in it and opened up the book. "Let's see..." I scanned the index for a name, "Ah! There it is!" I turned to the page and started reading. "How interesting..." I mused and I got out my trusty notepad and pen and began taking notes.
Angelita~ "Oh LeeAnne, the prettiest thing I've ever seen in my life. Or what I had seen. I watched her grow up when I was nineteen, up to twenty-six." I said, disappearing, and reappearing in different places. She cocked her head slightly, still reading, and taking notes. "LeeAnne Phoebe Matrix. Born May twenty-fourth." I sighed, reciting everything I had known. She was like LeeAnne, curious, happy, and none of the less, smart.
Evangelina~ I nodded and looked back at my notes and yawned. "I really must get some sleep..." I shrugged and went and returned the book and got another two out. "Chemistry or advanced math?" I asked and almost dropped the book on advanced math so I put it on the table along with the chemistry book and I opened both front covers of each book. I read the first sentence of the math book and groaned. It was in polish. "Out of all the 25 languages I know, why did it have to be in polish?!" I sighed and got up to look for a polish to English dictionary.
Angelita~ I drifted through the house, and that song ran through my thoughts again. I smiled slightly this time. Everything back in Italy, I miss it dearly. I miss the Matrix family. James, Janet, and LeeAnne Matrix. The most amazing family ever. LeeAnne was the prettiest darling ever with her beautiful ginger hair, and her pretty brown eyes. The girl that moved here, she looked so much like LeeAnne. She sounded like her too. James and Janet had a beautiful daughter, but did they know she was two of a kind? Anyway...I think it's time to think about what happened after I died. I was slumped on the floor, and Ronald's gloves were bloody. He took them off, and stuffed them in his pocket. He ran off quickly with phoniness in his voice. "Master James! Mistress Janet!" he hollered. "What is it, butler Ronald?" "Angelita has been murdered!" Both my master and mistress stood up, running to the scene of the crime. Of my death. They quickly called the police, and they arrived as soon as possible. After a few weeks, things were normal. But as my ghost haunted the house, I noticed poor LeeAnne wouldn't smile. When I had appeared to her, she didn't scream. She smiled, and I heard her bell laugh once again. It made me happy. After a month or two, another maid in the house was watching LeeAnne while James and Janet went to the court, and I had my will completely filled out. Sadly, my will was addressed to LeeAnne with my dresses, but the poor Chica caught a disease, dying in the next three days. James and Janet were devastated. One by one, the house members were disappearing. Me, Ronald and LeeAnne. I haven't seen LeeAnne's ghost yet. When I do, I'll be at rest. Continuing, James went suicide. He hung himself in a tree in the cemetery. Next was Janet, the poor widow whom couldn't live without her child, nor her beloved husband. And I am the only Matrix Manor resident. I do not leave, and will not leave without being reunited.
Evangelina~ I gave up looking for a dictionary so I decided to finish unpacking. I walked upstairs to my room and started unpacking. When I was finished I sighed and sat on my bed. I took out my notepad and pen and started doodling. I yawned and laid down. "Angelita...?" I sat up in bed and crossed my legs, "I have a few questions..."
Angelita~ I heard my name, drifting through the lovely manor returning to her room. "You called?" I asked softly with a slight yawn. I was tired, but not tired enough to disappear up to the attic to rest. She looked curious, and she said she had a few questions for me. "Depends on what kinds of questions.."
Evangelina~ I smiled when I heard her voice. "Don't worry, the questions aren't that hard. I just need to clarify a few things..." I sat up and put away my notepad. "Who's room was this when you were here?" I crossed my legs "Oh, and it might help if I could see you"
Angelita~ "I'm sort of tired, and I might disappear if I make myself visible-" I said, stopping automatically. This room. It wasn't mine. It wasn't Ronald's, not any of the butlers or maids. It wasn't Janet's office either. I turned visible, and I stammered out. "LeeAnne..." I disappeared into the attic, mourning my dear LeeAnne. I loved her dearly, like she was my daughter. LeeAnne, where's your ghost to come set me free of this burning pain of mourning?
Evangelina~ I sighed and laid back down. LeeAnne... That name sounded familiar... I yawned sleepily. Angelita must've loved her so much... I rubbed my head and decided to finish the thinking tomorrow. I laid back down and curled up and started to try and fall asleep.
Angelita~ I stared out the manor window, out at the park. I felt like I was absolutely crazy. LeeAnne's "twin" inherited her room, just by accident! Not on purpose. She was like LeeAnne. She admired my dresses, and loved the miraculous simplicity of my gowns. I couldn't help but let out a moan in mourning. I had thrown my things around, a picture at the wall, boxes opened and spread out all over the place. I hated being messy, but this was the reality. I was nothing but a ghost, my LeeAnne was gone, and her twin came to live here. That wasn't going to patch the hole in my ghostly heart. LeeAnne was dead. No one could remake her perfect personality and looks. The last thing I threw was my locker, and it tumbled out of the attic, and landing in front of LeeAnne's room. That locket had a picture of Her, my precious Lee. That was the last thing I had done before fading for over using my ghost abilities.
Evangelina~ I bolted awake and sat upright in bed. That was it! LeeAnn was my long lost twin! I scrambled to the end of my bed and grabbed my slippers off the floor. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to the front room. I grabbed my laptop and brought up a file of my family tree. "THAT'S IT!" I scrolled down and saw on the branch leading from my mother; Janet
