  2. Failed my first time bruh - apparently I forgot to to turn my head when doing a turn near da bike lane which got me dat L but second time I came back with a vengeance and I passed zat crap.

  3. Deng, a vengeful head turn like no other

  4. Passed first time. Pretty sure the testing officer was feeling me.

  5. When I had to take my permit test, it took me 4 times I think too pass that lmao

  6. It took me two years before I got my license. I had my permit (which I got on my 2nd try in the test) for two years and had to renew it twice before I even attempted to take the driving test. Thankfully I passed on my first try, but I had been extremely nervous. I'm sorry you made such a scary mistake, especially after practicing for so long!

  7. I failed once and then immediately passed after that. The only reason why I failed was cause I was so worried about making a mistake that I ended up making a mistake within the first five minutes ?

Then I cried in public so that was cool lol

  8. I know, I was really disappointed in my self. :(

  9. I was about to cry too, right in front of the instructor. But I held it together. :(

  10. I took my first permit test when I was 16. I didn't study at all, failed by ONE point too many. Luckily, they let me retest two weeks later. I passed just barely. But due to a single dad's finances, I never actually got to drive. (We couldnt afford insurance for me at the time.)

It wasn't until I was 21 that I actually went in to get my lisense. I failed the first time because I didnt stop at a stop sign inside the parking lot. To be fair, I was very very nervous and the lady was not pleasent. She did let me go through the whole test, and said that I needed to practice. I also had only driven for an hour the night before in a parking lot, with my dad as passenger. That did not go well AT ALL. We are both stubborn and butt heads.

Did I mention I only had that afternoon and the next morning to pass because I had to help my dad move back from Illinois to Kansas?

Well, they let us come back the next day. They accidentally gave me the computer test for a motorcycle lisense. I passed that one and then they made me do the car one. Passed. Then the driving again.

I did everything right, she said I was a little nervous and needed experience, but she was gonna pass me.

Next day I drove for 8 hours to Illinois in a giant ass truck to help my dad pack and move in with me as he had quit his job and needed a place to stay while he settled back in.

So, five years after I was old enough to get my lisense I finally got it. The next year, I bought my first car. Toothless is her name, and she's very important to me because having a car really helped me open up my future.

  11. @Purr Awhh that's such an inspiring story, your instructor seemed very forgiving tbh. I think the DMV I'm going to is so strict. I'm practicing and practicing but yet my dad still complains about almost everything I do. He and I are very stubborn butts as well, so it can get to the point where he takes my keys away and refuses to drive with me until he feels I'm ready.

  12. Tbh, the dmv I went to is strict AF. But I explained I hadnt driven before, and I did everything I needed to, I was just overly cautious and scared out of my mind. But I did fumble a few times because I was scared. The one thing I might reccomend is asking your parent to let someone else ride along one day. After I got my lisense, I road around with a friend my age and she said I was doing well. It was stressless and she gave me way more tips vs getting upset with me. Sometimes parents are not the best teachers.

  13. For my test, I didn't go to a DMV. I ended up going to a driving school and they gave me the driving test at the end of the course. I think there were 6 1.5 hour courses as part of the plan. It helped me learn pointers for what they're looking for and I ended up taking the test with my instructor, which made me comfortable driving with him as passenger and eased my anxiety. I've heard horror stories over DMV testers... If you need more practice I would recommend taking a driving course and taking the test through them.

  14.
  15. I agree. I drove with my uncle and he didn't complain once. He gave me good advice on changing lanes but that was about it.

  16. I really want to tbh, but I already went to a Driver's Ed course during highschool. So, my dad refuses to pay for an actual driving course with a good instructor. Which is understandable, I would pay for it myself if I had money.

  17. I got it on my first try.

  18. It is expensive, yeah. I didn't want to take one but after 2 years of my parents trying to teach me I just wasn't comfortable driving still. So we only really did it as a last resort. It turned out well though. But it was expensive.

  19. But how can u have a licence if ur a baby
