A democracy will always work better than a monarchy, because the people will feel like they have a voice in the matter atleast. If you'd rather just ignore the people, one day they will find something better. Because in the end, this is not a country, but a game. Newer and better games will always come around, and if you alienate your players you risk losing them to the other games. You can't make them to stick to the game without giving them a reason to do it. All the power is in the hands of the people here, and as soon as you show a weakness or the next time you piss them off, they will scatter to the other games. Because there will be a time when you reach the boiling point, and everything will spill out, and you should cool it down before you get there. As and when you lose support of the people, you lose as a game.
Now if you'd rather want a reason which appeals to your business mind, let's look at it from the view of the ratings from store. Now, I have android, and in its play store, pimd is currently at 3.8 rating. Which is not good enough to get you new (possibly paying members). What if you piss off more people and they decide to one star your app? The ratings would go down instantly which makes it less appealing to the masses. Which means even lower chance of new people joining pimd. Just giving you something to think about.
Now, back to me. 
At this point of time, I do have the resources (enough ec to buy a cat and 60 odd dn's) and the time. But I'd rather use that time for sleeping. And eating. And sleeping again. Then gym. Then playing games. Then eating again. And then a movie. Then sleeping again.

If you have found a balance so that you can enjoy RL and pimd better, good for you and continue on.
If you play too much pimd and don't go out and enjoy the finer things in life, I hope you will atleast give it a go, and you might learn what you have missed out on.

I might have possibly mixed up different stuff together in this thread. This started as a post to say I'm tired of the hunts, then it turned to pimd bashing a bit, then back to hunts. So I apologize if it became a Mish mash of nonsense . But I got my feelings out, so I'm happy about that lol.

Now, I know this is a long post, so I wish I could give you a customary potato for the same(as I had seen in another app where funny pics and gifs are shown, which I'm not mentioning because I'm not sure if that is silence able or not).

Actually PimD isn't ripping off anyone.. A lot of people have been wanted the pewdiepie one.. If you don't like the hunt or think PimD is being unoriginal and stealing ideas or not creative enough then go you don't need to participate in it... No one is making you 
