Kris: Welcome to Hogwarts, first of all. I'm sure I'll be seeing many of you messing around with things you shouldn't be throughout the year. *Grins* First things first, my name is Professor Lovegood *With a wave of my wand, my name floats over my desk, written in smoke*

 

Jess: -Eyes widen thinking Oh...He's the teacher 0.0-

 

Kris: This is my assistant, Lauryn Ravenclaw. She's dangerous, so don't tick her off. *Laughs*

 

Jess: -Recognizes Lauryn from earlier that day and grins. Should be a pretty good lesson.-

 

Kris: Well now, any questions yet? *Waits and the class stays silent* No? What do you all want to learn from me?

 

Jess: -Remembers what she wanted to know earlier, and raises her hand-

Kris: Ah, yes! Miss... *Pretends to look it up* Woods, you have a question?

 

(Rhyan, Lauryn doesn't read minds, lol,l

 

Jess: Yup. Uh, can we learn how to cast a patronus?

 

Kris: A patronus, hm? This, you mean? *Flicks my wand and a pure white, ghostly looking eagle flies from the tip and flies around the room*

 

Jess: -Watches it fascinated- Yep -Smiles-

 

Lauryn: It's an advanced spell, and only those who choose to take extra Defence in years 3-6 learn it in class.
Kris: It requires knowledge of yourself, a control of your emotions and pure magical skill. So in any case, that lesson will have to wait for a bit, definitely not something to start the first lesson of the year with. *Smiles and the eagle disappears*

 

Jess: Oh okay...Damn

 

*Another kid raises his hand* Um, how did that girl apparate into class?
Kris: Ah, yes. She did apparate in, and she one of the few people in this school that can apparate on school grounds. How she can do it is a secret *Grins*

 

Jess: -Thinks but can't understand why. Mumbles- I guess she's just a magical freaking fairy (Shes annoyed as she wanted to learn about patronuses. XD)

 

Kris: *Smirks* Or the heir of Ravenclaw.
Lauryn: *Smiles* Is there anything else any of you wish to learn? Anything at all?

 

Jess: -Scratching her name onto the desk she's at-
