It seems good to just put it out there but don't say it like you're offering your soul to them. Those usually end in disaster. I'd prefer to be all "hey, I like you, I just wanted you to know that" and see how it goes from there
If my wife text me I love you id respond similar.. Probably along the lines of how much money? Or what did you break?
? When I tell people I love them in actually offering my soul, because it means a lot to me. Which is why I don't say it often. Also, because love means everything to me I become highly irritated when people especially guys I'm dating say it without really meaning it, or because they want me to forgive them or for some other shit reason besides the fact that they love me. like wtf, my feelings aren't meant to be toyed with, I not afraid to knock your lights out and I will consider chopping your balls off. :roll:
for me it's all about context I don't tend to say I love you very much to men in general whereas with girls I say I love you quite a bit to them.
I don't say "I love you" to anyone. It gives me chills. "Love you," I usually say that on the phone to my parents, does that count? :lol:
