its a cool concept its just not a BF look it used to be a stylish thing with classy furniture that you could exchange in other rooms for upgraded style but yhr last few years it keeps getting farther an farther away from that to now a more prehistoric theme ☹️
This dorm furni is not interchangeable at all besides with dinosaurs 🌝 I’ll be recycling all this. Smh
Yes. When we hear Black Friday we think about promo and great deals. The one weekend of chaos that’s actually worth it.
Most likely on the weekend of Black Friday US so around Friday November 28 similarly to previous year. This is the first time they did 14d.
While the hunt concept is, indeed, quite fantastically unique (specifically, the dorm design), I do agree with my fellow players that this theme would've been more impactful as regular hunt, on its own. I empathise with many, who were expecting something along the older, more extravagant Black Friday Events. I, myself, was rather chuffed and had been looking forward to this year's BF. (For clarity, I don't mean the exact same aesthetics of the former but, something akin to the better ones we've come to expect--especially, during this time of the year. I hope that makes sense. These are simply my two pence on the discussions...) I appreciate the effort, though; particularly, that the hunt avatars are not as overly-sexualised (as some of the previous ones released). Again, my mere opinion, here... As for the dorm, itself: I find its fiery theme dorm to be amazing! Albeit, sadly, I also concur that its aesthetic does make it a challenge to mix-and-match the items with other furniture... One thing that truly shone through, for me, is those divine new Energy Shards Avatars! They're brilliant and exceptional! ✨💛✨ P. S.: The Pro Drop is outrageously cute, too!!! 🥰😍
Having stated this, I do find it also rather bemusing--it having just dawned onto me--that, in such a "hot temp-ed" design, the avatars are wearing too many clothes on...? For such a heated environment, I reckon it would have made more sense for them to have outfits on which would match the volcano/magma aesthetic better (think tank tops, shorts, and the like). (I suppose that's actually why I've thought that something was slightly off. I just couldn't put my finger on what it was, specifically, earlier... 🤭 ) From the recent autumn event, I remember having read several comments; which pointed out that a number of the avatars were designed to be removing their clothing--in an essentially colder climate setting. I'm not, by any means, disparaging the effort of the artists. I think the level of artistry has become leaps and bounds better, throughout the years... It was just, realising the irony between the two, that made me laugh a little. 🤭❤️🔥
I read your comment and I got the weird thought of Hunger Game : Katniss and her “dress on fire” idk why. 🤭
I dont mind the furni and avis to much but I expected more/better for a BF hunt. Something at level with Silvery Moon
