Nana The girl called Daisy had saved us. We were lucky this time. But I doubted there would be a second Daisy to save is again. I turned and looked across to Qin. She had a determined, yet angry look in her eyes. She looked... Scary for once. I was worried. Was this war taking it's toll on her? What of something happened to her? But this was Bo time to worry about such things. Survival, was more important. Following Daisy, we treated along a dirt path, when suddenly, large explosion was heard from the East. Everyone stopped and loaded their weapons, aiming at the direction of the explosion. This could mean trouble. Out of nowhere, two men jumped out of some vegetation, kindly shooting over their shoulders. In pursuit were two dozen rebels. Joe loaded his grenade latched while the rest of us directed bullets at the rebels. Many fell. But there were still many alive. Joe took aim, bit before he could do anything, Sophie ran forward and blasted rounds from her Dragon's Breath. The rebels exploded in flames, and they fell to the ground, screaming in terror. Slowly but surely, the fire burned them to death. Sophie rested the shotgun on her shoulder an walked back. Josh smiled at her and she blushed. The two man came forward. The first was an athletic guy, who was taller than me. "Fighting those rebels too?" he started. I nodded and he continued, with a handshake "James Epic. And this is Bliz. Veterans." I nodded in approval once more. The more the merrier.
Charlie There were two Charlies in this temporary squad? Cool! And make this clear. I'm the medic Charlie, the other soldier Charlie is Charlie Davis. We agreed to address him as Davis to avoid confusion. Anyway, we met the two veterans in the forest. I ran up to the one named James and struck up a conversation. "Charlie!", offering my hand. He shook it firmly. "I'm the medic. Nice to meet you! You're Bliz right?" I turned my attention to the guy walking next to James. He nodded, not a word coming out of his mouth. The quiet type. "So James, you and Bliz are war veterans?" "Hardened. War veterans." Hames emphasized on the word 'Hardened'. "So how did rounding about being a veteran?" "Well, it began wh-" James suddenly stopped, eyes wide. Something was wrong.
LOL Charlie. We were thinking of the same thing. Sorry I was writing it halfway when I had to attend to something. Just finishes it.
Oops. Sorry Charlie. Just realized the two Charlies (Davis and you) were the same person! Can I kill off Davis and keep you? The medic? Thanks.
