Mia- -pauses then fumbles through her bags-
Amanda, I'm sorry if this isn't much, but I have something for you.....for your troubles.
-hands Amanda a pendent with lots on intricate designs-

 

-Feels lonely.- -Sighs still in bed.-

 

Mia- -slumps into the seat and scratches neck-
I'm exhausted.

 

-Whispers, so no one will hear-Amanda, go and lay with Adam.

 

Amanda:-smiles- Thanks Mia -looks at Adam.-

 

-Still in bed.-

 

( such a nice day today.)

 

Amanda:-goes and sits next to Adam.-

 

(My air conditioning is halfway broken, so only half of my house is cold )

 

-Notices her and smiles.- Hello.

 

Amanda:-smiled- Hi

 

-Smiles.- How are you?

 

Mia- -yawns and starts to sleep-
You.........it.

 

Amanda:-sighs- I'm..... Fine

 

Mia- -stretches and wakes up, gloomy, trying to find a pillow-
Does anyone have a pillow I may borrow?

 

-Throws pillow at mia.-

 

-Looks sadly at Amanda.- What's wrong?

 

Amanda:-looks away.- You know what's wrong.....

 

-Frowns.- You said it was okay...
