Once Hill had managed to get everyone up, they all put on their snow gear and walked outside. "Mornin' everyone!" said Blizz trying to sound as energetic as he could. "Hey blizzy" replied Qin. "So..what are we doing today then?" said Sophie. "Skiing, of course" grinned Blizz. "Now, as we all know.. The receptionist isn't here, and Fletch doesn't think she'll be here for quite some time.. So let's make use of everything we possibly can!" he joked. "As for the skiing instructor, well, he's not here either. So as I'm the sensible one in this group, and the most experienced, i've decided, I don't mind teaching you all!" he said with a big grin on his face. "Excuse me?" said Naomi. "What?" Blizz asked confused. "You're making out you're the best person out of the whole group.. which you're not!" said Naomi, getting herself worked up. "Ok guys, no arguing. We're all feeling a bit grim today, but it's our own fault. Maybe some skiing will liven us up abit!" said Nana as friendly as he could. "Shouldn't we invite Fletch?" said Sophie unsurely. "N.." Qin was in mid sentence of saying no, until Dan cut her off and said, "Yeah! I haven't seen him since we got here". Qin clenched her fists in her pocket. She thought there was something fishy about Fletch, but the others didn't. She kept thinking to herself maybe she's just paranoid. Maybe it's just her. She decided to let this whole Fletch thing slide from her mind. She was working herself up over nothing she thought. "But who's gonna go up there and get him?" questioned Epic. "Remember when we were all checking in? He said it's best not we go up there, he'll come down" "Yeah, but how are we gonna get him?" said Hill. "Phone?" said Epic sarcastically. "Nah, they went down last night because of the snow, I checked this morning." Hill replied. "Oh. Well someone will just have to go get him.. It's not like we're gonna be invading his space, we're just simply being friendly and asking him if he wants to come ski with us. Is that such a problem?" asked Epic. Everyone shook their heads. ".. So, who's gonna go then?" said Morgan quietly. Nobody wanted to go.. All that was going threw Qin's mind was 'I should give Fletch a chance.. Everyone else has'. Eventually Qin spoke out. "I will" she said with a fake smile. Sophie and Naomi looked at her quite shocked. "Are you sure?" said Blizz. "Yep. May aswell, seeing as nobody else will" said Qin, trying to sound a bit tougher. "Alright then. Do you want someone to come with you?" asked Blizz. "I'll go with you, I don't mind" said Naomi. "Actually, it's fine. I'll go on my own. His lodge is literally just over there." replied Qin. "Ok, if you're sure" they all said. "Well then, we'll be either up at the top, in the middle of skiing or at the bottom of the slope if you need us" said Blizz. "Okay. I'll see you in a bit then" smiled Qin nervously. The others said goodbye to Qin and walked off up the slope. Qin thought, 'It's only me now..' As she started trekking up the mountain up to Fletch's lodge, she shoved her hands in her pocket and stared at the floor whilst she was walking. She snuggled her head further into her hood so that her ears kept warm. Her friends voices slowly getting quieter and quieter in the distance.
