Kyle and I sat in a nearby restaurant sitting across from each other. I sighed. "Janina... are you okay? Is something wrong? You look like you're in some sort of trouble..." asked Kyle. "Huh? Oh no... I'm just worried about being caught that's all," I said quietly. I placed a hand under my chin and leaned on the table. "Oh. Well I'm sure you won't be." "How can you say that with such confidence? I can barely say that with little confidence." "You just have to trust yourself and believe that you won't be." "But that's hard! I mean... I can't help but think what might happen if I am caught. I could be severely punished like have several charges laid against me or be thrown in jail!" He laughed. "Don't think about this so much. Just live while you can." I sighed. I turned my attention towards the front door as it opened. My eyes widened and I felt myself blush. James had walked in, a girl following behind. When he saw us he raised an eyebrow and came over to us. "Oh... hey Kyle," he said. He turned to me. "I never got your name, freshman." "C-Carter. Carter Hydranzo," I said. "Oh hey James!" said Kyle waving. He smiled at the girl. "Hi Lae-Ann," he said grinning. The girl blushed. "Hi Kyle!" "Can we join?" asked James. I opened my mouth to reject when Kyle smiled and said they could. I looked out the window. Oh damn it... I couldn't stand being near James... "So Carter. Isn't James's sister cute?" asked Kyle. "Eh?!" I said rarer loudly. "Sister?!" "Yeah, Lae-Ann is James's little sister! She's a real cutie don't you think?" Kyle said smiling. I looked at her and smiled, trying my best to look more manly. "Yeah, she's really cute I must say," I said winking at her. She blushed and I grinned. Ha... I bet I was looking more manly. "Thank you Carter," she said. "Yeah sure, just telling the truth," I said leaning back against my seat in a slouching manner. "Carter. I would like to speak to you... now," said James and he stood up. I blinked. What? Why?! I stood up and excused myself from the table. I followed James outside. As soon as we went around the corner he pinned me against the wall. "What the hell are you doing!" I demanded. "Whether you are a boy or not, stay away from my sister! You are too girly and not even manly!" "What are you talking about?!" I shouted struggling. "Let me go you as*hole! I mean it!" "I'm warning you. You are just a stupid kid. A real girly kid! Don't hand me this 'I'm manly' crap! Cause I can see right through you! You're just pissed because you are a scrawny kid! I wouldn't even call you a boy yet!" I clenched my teeth. He could tell how much I was trying... "What? So you think I'm a girl?! You really are a complete jerk! I will steal your lame sister's heart, I swear it, and don't get in my way!" I shouted. "Watch yourself! I will kill you myself if you touch her!" I glared at him. I wad going to show him how much of a man I could be. Though I was a girl... I wouldn't let anyone else find out about me... Not even him! No one was going to find out... no one.
