We Christians believe that when you die, your life will be balanced out on a balancer. If you have been kind and done good things, the balancer will show that and you will be entered into heaven. Everyone sins, but if your sins are worse than your good deeds, then you will not have the chance to be forgiven and your entry into heaven will be denied.
So.... Even if you have commited bad crimes, if u change and become helpful, kind and help others, u can be forgiven ??
Yes. Christians don't believe that if you don't believrme in God you go to hell. On the Day of Judgement, if the balance shows that your good deeds overpower your bad ones, then you can ask for forgiveness and commit your life to God.
Well, you don't. However, if you believe that God will forgive your sins and forget you ever did them, then praying for forgiveness rids of all your sins you have done. Christians believe that God forgets about sins if you ask him to. Everyone will sin.
What if you don't believe he will forgive them even if you do want to believe he will? That little bit of yourself that wishes you hadn't sinned, but did keeps you from believing he should forgive you? It's subconscious. What then?
The devil has no choice but to believe in God. He's in hell. People can choose to believe in God, but belief isn't enough. You have to live for God. ༒A message from the Southern Baptist Church Association༒
Isn't that the same thing as saying if you don't believe in him you're going to hell iExx? How do people live for him if they don't believe?
God judges you because of you. If you are ashamed of your sind but you find it hard to believe that they can be forgotten, then God will judge for himself if you are a good person. Good people don't go to hell. I define a 'Good Person' like what you described. Maybe you don't believe that God can forgive and forget your sins. But if you are ashamed of your sins and if you wish you had never commited those sins, then you are a good person. God tries to save everyone. Even terorrists and satanists.
