Most touching moment I had was when my grandpa passed last year. I was staying at the hospital with him cause he would never want me out of his sight. He had cancer and they never found it till it was way too late. Every night I always had to sleep in the chair beside his bed otherwise he would not sleep. And then one night my Aunt suddenly was trying to wake me up. I told her that if I don't sleep then grandpa won't sleep, and he told her that he was tired. She sat back in her chair and my grandpa sang Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray dear Lord my Soul to keep. And if I should die, I Pray Dear Lord my Soul to take. Over and over till my Aunt and I were asleep. Not long after I was awaken by the nurses and it happened that he had just passed away.
I've had a few life experiences such as those, none really worth mentioning that definitely make you think about life, the human spirit, the capacity to love another human, etc. I think one of the most important things I have taken away from many life experiences such as those is: you never really know what another person is currently going through. that's why Im never quick to judge whenever I see someone doing... almost anything. many of you guys have shared some beautiful, personal stories and I appreciate them!
