Mom: *gets in car and buckles seatbelt* Son: *gets in car and puts in headphones* Mom: Hey, take those headphones out and buckle up Son: *takes headphones out and buckles seatbelt* Mom: *backs out driveway and drives down road stopping at a red light* Honey, there are some things we should talk about.. Son: What is it? Mom: Its about me and your father Son:.... Mom: Me and him are getting a divorce, Son: When? Mom: A couple weeks, just waiting for them to get everything settled Son: *shrugs* It doesn't matter, isn't like dad cares for me anyway.. Mom: Your dad does care about you... Son: Dad was never there for me, Mom: Sure he was, Son: Freshman year, my first ever basketball game, I gave dad a ticket, he promised to be there, that morning of my game he got on a plane to Florida to meet with one of his clients Mom... Son: He doesn't care mom, and he hasn't been there for none of my games, not even one. Maybe he doesnt get that if he went only to one game, just one, it will show me that he actually cares about me and my ability, but he doesn't... Mom: Your not the only one who feels that way..*looks at son sadly*

Son: What do you mean? Mom: *sniffs and holds in tears* Your father has thousands of clients, and most of them are women, he doesn't touch me anymore, he doesn't kiss me or tell me that he loves me, I feel as if that job is the reason our marriage failed.. I gave everything I could to him, and he thinks he can just go ahead and cheat and try to replace me*clenches jaw and tightens grip on steering wheel* Son: Who said anything about dad cheating? Mom: *tear falls down cheek* Your dad has been having a an affair with one of his clients for a whole year, Son: Oh, *looks down sadly* Mom: I gave up everything for him,I gave up my family for him because I had so much love in my heart for him, and when the day I found out I was having my first baby by him, I just had a feeling that we would forever stay happy, but....instead, he sleeps with another woman and hurts me so bad, I'm afraid to love again.. Son: Dad isn't worth your tears...and he sure as hell isn't worth mine..*plays with fingers and frowns* Mom: *nods and whips eyes* Your right, but it really hurts though, Son: Trust me mom, it hurts too

YOU MAKE PEOPLE GIVE THEM THEIR EVERYTHING TO YOU, AND YOU HURT THEM! Son: Mom, I don't understand Mom: WHAT THE HELL ELSE DO YOU THINK?!? I LOVE YOU! Son: Mom I love you to- Mom: NO YOU DONT YOU LIKE THAT OTHER GIRL, I LOVE YOU IN A WAY WHERE I WANT TO BE WITH YOU, START A FAMILY AND GET MARRIED AND WE CAN HAVE THAT HOUSE, WE CAN BOTH FORGET ABOUT YOUR FATHER! Son: I'M YOUR SON! LISTEN TO WHAT YOU JUST SAID, AND BY THE WAY, IM NOTHING LIKE HIM, I WILL NEVER BECOME HIM! Mom: TO LATE FOR THAT! Son: *looks at mom angrily and clenches fists* FINE THEN! I don't wanna run errands with you anymore, *walks out car and slams door walking the opposite direction* Mom: *sighs and closes eyes* Great.....
