In America, we can't even go to the movie theater without a masked gunman unloading an AK-47 into our chest. Can't go to school cause the dude who's getting bullied will unload his dad's pistol into some kids. Can't go outside there might be a drive by. Can't go to church racists might bomb it. Can't go to the police as soon as I reach for my phone to show them evidence, they'll think I'm pulling out a gun to shoot them. We ain't great at all.

Guns are banned here in Mexico and look at us, one of the most violent countries in the world. Not allowing to carry guns isnt the answer

The problem I have with this is: First responders take about 2 minutes to get to my home in my home town. Now Let's say I have a guy in my house threatening my life. Is he going to give me a chance to pick up the phone dial 911, then explain the situation, and sit and wait with me till the police show up? No, a bullet fires from the gun and there's no dodging it, there's no stopping it. You simply cannot out run a bullet. If he sees you pick up the phone his first instinct would be to shoot. We need to be able to protect ourselves when the authorities couldn't. Convenient store robberies, we've all seen them on TV, yes? Where was the cop who is supposed to be protecting the clerk!
People say "it's all about skin color, police just aim for the black guy" this isn't necessarily true, yes I see there are some forms of police brutality. Now if they only shoot to kill black people explain this situation to me. A white police officer in America, was beat senseless by an African American male. In self defense she shot the suspect, not to kill but to demobilize. The suspect then proceeded to get up and take off after the officer. Again the officer took aim and demobilized him. Was that cop supposed to allow the suspect to beat the hell out of him yet again? This exact case caused riots, and protesting in the streets. This wasn't police brutality, this wasn't murder, this was simply self defense. As for you saying that most shootings happen by weapons that are legal and people who have a concealed carry permit. I want you to think for a second what's going to happen if Obama takes our guns away. Now all of our legal gun owners are left without weapons however, all of the criminals who purchased them off of the black market, they're not disarmed. What's stopping them from a crime spree? When there is no potential threat to their life, who's gonna stop them? First responders can only get there so fast.

Gun control is dumb. If someone wants to acquire a gun to do illegal activity; guess what....they are going to aquire it ummm illegally.
