I have became a parent at 17. Did I screw up my life? No. Did I drop out of school? Not a chance. Did I regret it? Hell no. I'm my personal opinion I didn't miss out on a thing. I graduated highschool with my friends as my infant son watched on with my family. I skipped prom to be with my son instead. There isn't a single regret I have. Now I have 2 kids and 25. My kids are my pride and joy. Watching them excitedly tell me how 3rd and 1st grade is to them brings a huge sense of pride. You can be a parent at any age, and have no regrets.
Thank you. It was very hard and trying at times even when my vice principle told me I didn't belong there but I proved everyone wrong and am damn proud of it.
In all honesty I WISH I could be a mom at my age, but due to various circumstances I can't be. It's been said many times but age does not matter as long as the mother is able to care for her child and herself properly.
Well I'm over 25 with a secure income and great life but I still don't think I'm capable of raising a child. Raising a child takes hard work and dedication and I don't think I'm able to hold the responsibility of one's life. My father had me at 16yrs old and is the best dad in the world. My sister had her first child at 16 and still graduated from high school, went to prom, went out, went to college, pledged a sorority and still is a great mom. Age isn't a factor it's the person.
Rule 1. Don't get pregnant until you're older and married with a good job that has steady cash income that is enough for three people.
Children are not hard to control. its all about how they are brought up. why is it an issue if they get up early? They are children it's what they do. If you want to sleep in, it's plain and simple don't have children. Everyone will have a different opinion on how to bring up their children. What works for one person will most likely not work for another. It's about knowing your own children and finding what makes them Happy.
And when was that 'rule' made? 18th century?? Newsflash, it's 21st century now and there are many hard working, stable couples/singles who can provide. Why do they need to be married and older? Damn...I broke both rules there...didn't realise there was a rules 101 handbook to creating life
Tell that to the children who are brought up in nice rich families and they're pieces of crap scum bags who tank they own the place. And they also go around acting better than everyone and also doing crimes because they think they can buy their way out. Also the ones who get stuff without earning it or doing anything to deserve it.
