Grandpa laughed and went to go get him a glass of water. His glasses were foggy and he sat down on the couch. Three other boys tumbled in. One was a short Asian guy with black hair and brown eyes, Dan. The one who was jumping around with the gray eyes and blonde hair was Cody. The calmer one who avoided collision with the other two, trotted behind. His dark green eyes shone with intelligence and his dark blonde hair stayed in an on purpose messy fashion. Grandpa came back with a tray of lemonade. Tyler popped up, took a drink and plopped back down. "TYLER!!" A female voice rang "oh god damn it all" Tyler groaned. The rest of us backed away from him and watched. Two girls ran out. One sat close to Tyler and the other took the other side. One was Quinn, his little sister with a big mouth. She had the same dark eyes but she had brown hair and he had brown. She loved annoying her big brother. The other was Tyler's um..."friend" Bella whom, I must say, was out of his league. As his little sister pointed out. Bella was as tall as him with ocean blue eyes and light blonde hair. She curled up flirtatiously beside him. "Hey Tyler" she said twirling a strand of her bright red highlights. "Er...hi Bella" he said, embarrassed. Quinny made a barfing face to us. "so...um...should we leave you alone?" Roy said with a knowing smirk. "NOO" "YES"they both said at the same time. "BAHAHAHAHAGAHAHAHAGAHAGAHAHGA" Quinny laughed so hard she fell on the floor. "owww..." she murmured. I jumped to help her and put out my hand to her. Tyler gave me a look...an odd...protective look. She smiled and took my hand. "Well...Teddy you obviously have better things to do, we'll do our walk tomorrow." Grandpa smiled "ok" I said and I pulled Quinn up. "Thanks." she said and smiled warmly. 'she's 14...one year younger' I thought

'Nah...I'm out of her league.' I thought. Dan, the youngest of our kind of group thing sat beside Quinn. Bella babbled to Tyler who took it in calmly and nodded understandingly. Brotherly instinct took over and he shot a venomous look to Dan, who ignored him pointedly. We all knew that Quinn was off-limits, even if we wanted to. I sighed. Sometimes I felt estranged to my friends, even at the best of times. I cared about them but I was a little bit tired of banter. I walked outside and unlocked my iPod, beginning to listen to music, which always helped my heart. Rufus bounded over, put his large head on my lap and looked at me with those puppy dog eyes. I petted his flat head and scratched behind his ear. He closed his eyes little Tilly lied her head against my chest. I put my iPod down and petted her muzzle. I sighed quietly as I head footsteps behind me. "My house has been taken over by teenagers." grandpa said as he sat beside me on the patio. Tilly went over to him and pressed her nose against his pocket. He laughed and produced an apple. "I swear Tilly, you're half dog." he chuckled and she whinnied,which sounded like high pitched laughter. He held out the hand with the apple and she ate it out of his hand. "She's on solids now?" I asked "yep. Soon she's gonna out grow Rufus." as we were speaking, Rufus nosed my pocket and came out with the milk bone I had in there. He crunched it, satisfied with his find. I smiled. "It's so peaceful grandpa." I said basking in the warm sun. "Aye my boy, it is." he said using his Irish accent. "tá sé sin go hálainn ... gcuimhne dom mo óige ..." he murmured in Irish.
Now why would I be sitting next to Qin? I'd usually be off in the kitchen or petting the dog but never calmly sitting down well I do sometimes when I'm really tired But it's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
