  1. Except that's using runs as a noun ?
     
  2. Wudnt it be everybody runs or ran

  8. That's the difference between you and I. Success and failure.
     
  9. It's because "everyone" or "everybody" or whatever is a group that's treated as a singular noun. It's the same as "family".

  11. It would be everyone runs to get their bags. If you say "everyone, run to get your bags", everyone would be a noun of direct address

  14. ....that escalated quickly. But she said everyone is a third person singular so what she basically told me is:
    Singular subject= Singular Verb
    Plural Subject= Plural Verb
     
  15. As far as I know a verb ending with s (base form + s) is the singular verb.

  17. So if it ends in an s it's still singular. ..so wha makes it plural..do you add an ss lol
