I love seeing how happy my kids are when they open their gifts. And last year I was purposed to so on Christmas eve i got engaged
I love christmas because it is a time to give back to those who need it the most..the smiles on the children's faces that wouldn't have a Christmas with out u..merry Christmas be a blessing to those in need ?
The thing I like most about Christmas is that it brings my family together. My dad died when I was a baby and Christmas is hard because he's born on Christmas Eve. Despite it being a sad time for my family. We mange to be happy and share memories. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love spending time with my family. When we're not fighting. But no worries we're Italian. ?
Last yr xmas changed for us. The day before Xmas eve my gma was in the hospital. We all knew she didn't have much time left. I remember her saying she was sorry to us... I asked her why she was sorry. She said she had ruined our Xmas. I cried and hugged her tight. Daddy told her no you didn't. We are just going to bring Xmas to you. She ended up passing Xmas morning. Grandaddy had taken it hard bcuz it was also their anniversary. He told us he did what he needed to do and that was to out live her. He's been letting go more and more over time. Needless to say, Xmas changed for me. It's not just about the presents, food, or having kids happy about toys. Its about being around our families. Sharing old memories and laughing. Smiling and most of all just being together. Bcuz the next yr they may not be around. Enjoy times with your loved ones guys. Hope you all have a safe and warm Christmas/holiday. ?
I love watching my babies eyes light up as they walk into the room and Santa has left them gifts. The excitement of finding Santa's half eatin cookies. My daughter cried last year when she found out he had ate all but one cookie cause she was so excited. I love going to the children Christmas Pageant every year....to watch baby angels sing. But most of all we enjoy giving back to other cause the days be4 Christmas we box and bag up out grown clothes and toys and take them to local churches and Christian ministry. So they can be used by those in need. My children know it's better to give then to receive and to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas ...Christ our savior was born. Christmas is truly magical if you believe.
There is something special for my Christmas this year. This is my first time to celebrate with my love one - my hubby and I'm excited over it. Feeling loved during the festival. Merry Christmas to everyone. Hohoho~~
Love being with family and friends. It's a time ti be around your loved ones and sharing special priceless moments
It's the one week a year I get to see my family since I have school and work for the rest of the year.
THE BEST THING ABOUT CHRISTMAS FOR ME IS SPENDING TIME WITH MY 10YRS OLD SON THAT I BARELY SEE CAUSE HE STAY WITH HIS DAD IN ANOTHER STATE AND I WORK ON HOLIDAYS BUT WHEN I HAVE THE TIME OFF I LOVE SEEING THE SMILE ON HIS FACE CHRISTMAS MORNING
This is typical answer but whatever. I do terrible at school. I hardly go home because it's a waste of gas for every weekend so I only visit on holidays. Honestly, I wasnt exactly wanting to go home just yet because papa always argues about something and ruins the Christmas mood. This year, it hasnt been as bad. With the stress from school, I hadnt realized exactly how much they put me at ease. I guess I kind of forgot about that. With Christmas rolling around, we are so focused on the stress of plans or gifts. We start to forget what it feels like. I'm glad I rekindled those feelings this year. Besides that, I have got to make apple cider this year. Someone.. please teach me. I cannot find cinnamon sticks.
