POV: Drake I look up from my book I brought with me. "Vampires? Really," I smirk, knowing very well there all. "Hendrix saw them and Phammie sensed them. Let's go!" Boo says grimly grabbing his knives. I nod and follow, not needing a weapon. My eyes are better than any weapon. We move almost as swiftly as the vamps. I see the dark hair whip into a wall near the end of the hall. My eyes register tall doors with windows as we move. We are in an old school. Probably the one those kids were murdered in in the 60s. "There!" Boo's echoes hiss evilly, so out of tune with the wiry kid. I look at the creature in the corner. Big, reddish eyes, reddish skin, everything about her is tinted. Fear is clear on her face. Sweet fear, I crave it as much as they do. I take off my Ray Bans, slipping them into my curly hair. I flicker my bare eyes over her. A grimace on her face. Angelic face really, would be if it didn't belong to a monster.
POV: Quail The boy with the sun glasses on seems to be staring at me. I think he can hear my fears, or is that one of the girls? Either way, I'm scared. Zazha promised me I wouldn't die. That I was just here to prep them for what's to come. His glasses come off, and I see the horror the tinted lenses hid. Red eyes, wild eyes, not like mine because I have eyes. This boy has raw sockets for eyes. I open my mouth and hear a blood curdling scream. I think it's me, if I can even think. The pain is so overwhelming as his eyes flicker over my body. I can't feel anything but burning and stabbing, yet, some how, I know no one is touching me. I manage what is a pleading look. The girl with white hair and an attitude flits around the corner cradling her arm. "STOP!" The girl who can hear thoughts says. Her voice is powerful, so powerful I stop feeling the pain.
