A lot of dogs are going to have issues, health-wise or not. That doesn't mean they're not still loveable. You're right when it comes to "adopt, don't shop," though.

I have a lovely Siamese cat named Phoebe. I love her because she will shred people's faces who come near me. Don't let that give you the wrong idea, she can be very sweet, if she wants to be. She has earned her nickname Growly Pants, though ?. She can growl and purr at the same time.

 

So cute! I often prefer smaller dogs (not the yappy ones) but you can't go wrong with this breed!
