  2. Leviticus 18:20-30 New International Version

20 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her.

21 “‘Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.

22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

23 “‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.

24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. 25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. 26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, 27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. 28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

29 “‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people. 30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”

  3. May as well be quoting Harry Potter, fictional books don't matter.

  4. That argument will be valid if harry potter is still relevant 2000 years from now

  5. Ikr... so sad

  6. Not one bit sad.

  7. I feel like it will tbh. It's well known by people all around the world and made a huge impact to the point whenever anyone else tries to write about wizards or magic schools they're called Harry Potter copycats~

  8. Witchcraft is also a sin. It won't last, will be wiped off the earth. Just like paganism, sure it still exists...but can you name anything pagan other than a couple of God's and a holiday?

  9. I'm glad you recognize halloween as a pagan tradition rather than the devil's bday.  you really know your stuff.

  10. Most 'christian' holidays are pagan in origin. Christmas is a pagan holiday that celebrates a sun god, for example. Going to church (worshipping) on Sundays is a pagan ritual. The correct Christian day to go to church is Saturday, 'the seventh day' when God rested. And it's a book for entertainment, few ppl who read it actually believe in witchcraft.

  11. I never even heard of calling it the Devil's birthday. That's an interesting one.

  12. ^ fr. That devil's birthday thing made me laugh

  13. oh then im not sinning aaaayyeeee because im not having sex with mennnn im fückin womeeennnnn

  14. Well there you go, there's the difference. People who read the bible DO believe it.

And paganism was replaced with Christianity, after Jesus and his disciples brought the good news to the world. Sure, it took some time for the word of God to spread. And sure, some holidays resemble pagen holidays, as the people whom founded such traditions were originally pagens. But they created these traditions to glorify the one true God. Not to continue to worship false pagen gods.

And I believe Monday is the first day and Sunday is the 7th. Idc what the business world says, they aren't the most Christian people in the world.

  15. If you're doing so out of wedlock, you are

  16. still not sinning then

  17. "According to the Hebrew calendars and traditional Christian calendars, Sunday is the first day of the week. However, according to the International Organization for StandardizationISO 8601, Sunday is the seventh and last day of the week." - off wikipedia. So religiously (for christians and jewish people) it's the first day

  18. I'm not Catholic...they persecuted my ancestors for centuries and have burried our beliefs.

The old believers are making a comeback though!

Sunday is the 7th day, nothing you say is gonna change that for me.

And when did Wikipedia become a reliable source? In my school days, we'd fail if we used Wikipedia as a source for research papers.

  19. Wikipedia is a good source as long as the page is cited properly. My university professors accept it depending on what it is. And okay. As long you're aware that's willful ignorance.
