Yep, and we do come up with our own ideas. But it's nice to hear feedback from those who are vocal and have a strong passion for the game. No requirement to share feedback, but we do always like to see it.
Speaking for the community, we appreciate you actually answered multiple comments on this thread. Thank you even if you do make poor decisions, shouldn't y'all have your own beta so you can be your own Guinea pigs? We don't want to get excited for something and have it taken away from us.
We do have our own testing, actually quite a lot of it. Though it's much harder to simulate player behaviour as we can't predict how individuals or groups behave with the accuracy we'd like. If we could that would be pretty sweet though
Instead of adding new things like the super pro parties which didn't work as planned. You could work on the smaller things like adding more jobs with higher rewards and more payout so players can earn more off jobs so they can grow more and meet the ever growing stat requirements for clubs. (Since most new players have trouble finding party clubs that they are too small to join most of the time) Adding more jobs would also help bigger players that have already completed them something more to do and work for. It's small things like this that would help encourage growth and give something more for others to work to complete.
Player suggestions in the forums, feedback, and through email provide us with a glimpse into those players and how they [play the game. While we might not always be able to implement their specific ideas it does help shape our decisions and focus for the game alongside our own design goals and metrics.
Not so much running out of ideas but rather wanting to give you, the community, a voice in helping to shape a game that you love and enjoy
A thinking ape, please slow down with the hunts, I know you it helps your revenue, but it's tiring to always be forced to follow the trend. You claim players can war whenever they want, but it's hard to plan any war events when you always coincidentally add a CC x2 promo all of a sudden. Further more, your leaderboard VIP is broken, most of it makes no sense since the appearance of PARTIES, clean it up and make something out of it. Finally, nobody has time to wait hours and hours just for a war to begin. Reduce the time from hours to 15 Minutes like parties. Nobody likes to waste 1/2/3 hours waiting for it to start especially if you plan on doing HUNTS 24/7 back to back, so another reason why time is counted.
So you realize you are being greedy and you admit it, but still follow through with the removal of Super Pro Parties even though the majority of the community want them to stay? And then you end with "Please understand" with no facts or statistics?? Sound about right? Thanks for your "Further Explanation"
I seem to recall seeing a conversation between the devs and a former mod from a year or so back: Basically, it was stated that forum users represent no more than 5% of the community and are irrelevant for determining game strategy or direction. So, if those who actually give verbal input are not heard, the lesson is: success is measured by income. Period, end of story. If the game is profitable, it is a success. Mario, I'll give you this - you're here facing the firing squad, but you're also limited to the company message. There is plenty of knowledge to which the players aren't privvy. What you have no doubt seen, time and time again, are angry messages like this, a brief drop in income, and a gradual return to normal levels. The frustration wears off and life goes on. But the message to the community is, we aren't considered. We are means to an end, not the end in itself. You've built a game on top of a social platform, and the danger in a social game is, a bad word travels a LOT more than a good one. The new look was widely panned and we eventually gave up. The spinner is ridiculous and the odds are worse than Vegas - which is costing you passive ad income. Hunts are geared toward flash CC, which means lower income players are simply not as important to your business as the big spenders. (Shocking, I know) You've set up a pay to play system that has removed the challenge and the strategy and replaced thinking, networking players with big spending whales. That is why your veterans are fed up.
there was a massive war community that searched for your attention, where were you when we demanded more updates on wars? You're just waiting till it dies out. Make more events like Beta wars, but call it idk, Club wars where 10 vs 10 around same stats fight for 2 hours. Go see your colleagues @SMASH...
Instead of just making hunts party based you could involve a few pvp aspects to hunts that only players who want to join can take part and go up against other players who want to take part. (sign up through buying an item in store that changes your name color and only put players who have joined in on the meet people lists) Or fix the payout on pro parties with tier 7's and 8's.
Not entirely sure what about any of this was new information other than the confirmation of what we all already knew, that "revenue" was a huge factor. Idk what you expect with this "further explanation" other than further outrage but ok. And the whole beta war explanation, I call BS so hard on that one. As I pointed out at the time and will point out now is you gave ppl no reason to desire to participate. Why? You put it during competitive hunts where the reward for participating in the war would actually negatively affect players progress in getting hunt rewards. There was either no rewards or so little that someone in a party could easily get FAR more rewards. Making players choose between 2 events isn't my idea of giving players a fair chance to participate in wars. Ultimately that's the only reason the turn out wasn't good.
This isnt a reason at all must explain negative impacts and besides ata should have to see the positive affects which super pro did on game, there is a new challenge which pplz were following, but now stick back to cc ppa and regular parties which are here for more than a year.. does the developers so dumb that cant innovate a lil in parties in whole year?? and now even removed some advancements which had done atlast
Well this sucks big time , so what are u guys going to bring then for players that been playing for a while now ?
