Great politicians never actually own up... I thought you was doing a pretty good job with the misdirection... Maybe a future in politics might on the cards at least we'd get some honesty eventually ??.
These new and smaller players are making too much cash and upgrading with unbelievable ease compared to years past ...I see noobs with 20-30 thousand actions already over 10 mcs , you may have sold your removal explanation to yourselves but us long time players aren't buying what you're selling .....
We're holding off on making a final decision on what may happen with these avatars just now, and while we likely won't just give them away we may look at ways to make them available to players that reward their gameplay.
Blahblahblah. Clearly there were other options. A simple solution- make them available for lower stats to hit/decrease difficulty. It's so obvious that this is only a greed based decision.
It's a business but most IMPORTANTLY a game. It shouldn't revolve around revenue that should be a plus. Make the game fun first before trying to suck the living day lights out of our pockets. ?
What about to those whom have worked hard for the two previous items that combined? Shouldn't we get the avatars we were told we'd receive? Since you're removing what was a good set of parties the least you can do is to hand it out to those whom got both items. Well that would be a nice gesture. Though I don't think you developers know what the meaning of nice is, rather only know the definition of greed.
Please don't take away the super pro items. I literally just sold my Frida for them this morning and now y'all changing minds.
You're definitely right. Fun is key. And I think the fact that most players stick around and continue to enjoy the game says a lot. Yes, this specific feature was removed, and while some fun went with it, it's going to allow us to ensure the games long term health, and to continue providing content for those very same players.
I know wars are suppose to be a beta and what not but would you ever try and do a war hunt like last times? I really loved those because having never been in a war (since they were rare) it was a new experience and I think others who havent experienced wars would love them. Thanks for also answering the questions this time!
We don't have any plans to remove the Super Pro items players have collected. This is again part of our discussion. We're trying to find a balance to reward those who have already worked towards the avatars, and also make them available to those who work towards then. Not sure what this means just yet, but its an active discussion in the office.
Okay, sounds better than before. Yeah, maybe reducing the amount of drops that a super pro gives would've been a better idea to keep making money off cc so people can still get the tattoo pen, street art, etc. just a suggestion but you're right, you're a company and you do need to make money. Maybe you guys could do something better for all the community that plays, not only revolve on what makes money. ?
Calling this one too! How many ec in the Ava store? Wall me your answers ?? Mario you didn't even try to hide this one! I'm disappointed! You were doing so well!
@ata I paid cats and drop volley for my super pro items and now your saying you will make another way for us to maybe get them so how can you fix that problem for the people who traded items, cats and even gave drop volley for the super pro items?
Like most times, the cover up is often worse than the crime. People don't like being lied to. This is all about revenue, everyone can see that. Stop trying to deflect the narrative. Again, don't feed me s--t and tell me it's pizza.
With regards to the hunt formats, we do rotate through several formats including team battles, individual progressions, reward box openings, etc, as well as mixing and matching various hunt mechanics to provide variety. Every now and then we like to try coming up with new hunt formats to try like we did with the Dormlympics hunt that just ended. Sometimes the new formats work better and sometimes they don't. As we mentioned, any new feature in the game is treated as an experiment where we will evaluate what works and what doesn't. We do read and appreciate all the feedback given on hunt structures and take it into consideration when planning future hunts. 1) As we mentioned, it was originally our intention to keep the Super Pros around. However, as we continued to monitor the effects of the Super Pros, we made the decision to remove them. 2) As mentioned, we like to try new things every now and then to try and keep things fresh. We appreciate the feedback given and will keep it in mind for future hunts. 3) We don't like removing content either, but sometimes something that is well received may not necessarily be best for the health of the game. For example, if we were to make Cat Cafe permanently 5x, that would certainly be well received, but would it be a good thing for the game?
You're not providing anything really, but only rising the hardness to achieve items from hunts, just like this hunt showed you had to add new tiers so players would buy more cats and flash. So in that term it's we who provide you.
