"Maggie.." She was mad. I could tell. But why? If you wanna be my lover, You gotta get with my friends. Make it last— I picked up my phone and looked at the caller ID. Blake. I sighed, and answered. "What, Blake?" I heard Shan squeal in delight and Amanda and Keely sigh in disgust. "I just wanted to say I was sorry. I didn't know what came over me last night." "Apology accepted." He chuckled. "Well, I'll talk to you later." "Bye." "Bye." I hung up, and suddenly Shan was in my face. "What did he say?!" She screamed. "Um, just to say that he was sorry." "Honey, if you're not going to choose Ryder, I'd be happy to take him," Amanda chirped. "He's hot." "Shut up, Amanda!" Keely shouted. "I don't want to keep listening to your rants about how hot Ryder is!" "What-ever." "Great." "I'll sing a song," Amanda suddenly sat up. "C'mon Maggie! You'll get Ryder!" "With you singing a song? Nice." "Well, you can sing. If you want to." Ugh. ••• I laid down, and winced. That fight really got to me. And Maggie... How could she.. I knew she was lying. She was definitely lying. She loves Blake. I see you driving round town With the girl I love and I'm like, Forget— I sighed. "What Shan?" "She loves you." "Nope, nada," I said. "Uh-uh." You would ask why Shan's telling me this. You wanna know why? Shan Kendrick is my sister. ----------
I died laughing at that. Your character has issues. Like, disease issues Get your head out of the gutter guys
Oh, come on! I smirked. Nice, Amanda. I'm just joking. Amanda's a great singer. She's in our school's glee club, the New Directions. They're awesome. There's Rachel, Finn, Quinn, Santana, Brittany, Artie, Mike, Tina, Joe, Sam, Puck, Jake, and Ryder. Yup, Ryder's in the glee club. The New Directions used to get bullied everyday. But that changed when Amanda and Ryder joined the club. Ah, Ryder. I don't know what to do. I love him, but I love Blake.. "Psst, Maggie!" Someone shouted/whispered. "Oh, hey Nadia..." "I just wanted you to know that Blake's my boyfriend, not yours, and if you ever..." I nodded. "Good." ••• Preforming is a part of my life. It's a part of my soul. It's a part of.... Well, you get the point. Don't care if it's Chinatown, or on riverside! I'm in a New York State of mind! My voice boomed in the auditorium. Well, mine and Rachel's. Oh, it's Amanda by the way. Just thought you should know. We finished the song and waited for the applause to die down. We waved and went backstage. "That's amazing guys. You know what time it is." Mr. Schue exclaimed. Me and Ryder looked at each other, and nodded. "Oh, Amanda and Ryder?" We looked up. "Yes?" "Don't forget the kiss. You guys always made up lame excuses to not kiss. You. Have. To. Kiss." I gulped. I hadn't exactly told Maggie that. ------
Here's the update Dun dun dun --------- "You. Have. To. Kiss." I gulped, and nodded. What was I supposed to do? The musical zipped by. It's Grease, by the way. Then came the ending song. Me and Ryder were supposed to kiss, um.. I got chills, they're multiplying. And I'm losing control, Cause the power, you're supplyin', It's electrifyin'! It was my turn.. Oh dear. You better shape up! Cause I need a man.. And my heart is set on you... All too soon, the song ended. Me and Ryder were suddenly inches away from each other. "Psst! Kiss!" Rachel whispered. Suddenly Ryder grabbed me and my lips were embraced with his. I felt.. Weird. I broke off the kiss, and the thundering applause got even louder. The curtains closed, and I ran. "Amanda!" I looked up to see who had called my name. Maggie. Uh-oh. ••• I was raging. Why didn't she tell me?! "Amanda!" She froze. My eyes flashed with anger. "Amanda?" She turned around. And guess who was behind her? Ryder. Shan and Keely ran behind me. "What the fuck, Amanda?! Why didn't you tell us you had to kiss..." Shan stopped short. "...Ryder." "Uh, you know, I should be leaving now..." Ryder backed up, and sprinted. "Uh, um.. I.. Forgot?" "Don't lie to me Amanda." I glared at her. "Us," Keely corrected. "We're her friends too." "We used to be friends with her." Shan sneered. Amanda was stammering. "I-I d-d-don't k-k-now.." "That's not.." Shan stepped up, but I held my hand. I stepped up to Amanda, and slapped her squarely in the face. ---------- Buh-byes.
Maggie slapped me. The pain. It was spreading. She covered her mouth with her hand. "Oh my god.. I didn't.. I'm sorry.." I shook my head. "Amanda..." "What?!" "Um.." I sighed. "I'm gonna go." ••• I had slapped my best friend. Over one theatre kiss. I was overreacting. Now the look she gave me made guilt spread all over my body. "Amanda.. I'm sorry, I'm overreacting." "I don't care," tears were starting to dorm into her eyes. "You are not my friend. You never were." "But.." "But nothing." She sniffled. "Amanda, you're overreacting," Shan fought. Ohh my god. "Crying, over just one slap." "It wasn't the slap. I thought she was my friend, I thought you my friend. I guess I was wrong. I have been loyal to you. Why did people stop slushy-ing you?" Amanda asked, the tears slowly falling down her cheeks. "Because.." "And, Keely. What about the time you broke up with Daniel?" Keely mumbled something, but I couldn't hear it. "You guys are jerks." ••• "..are jerks." There, I said it. I spun around, and walked out. I went outside to get some fresh air. I was walking across the street when I heard a loud beep! I turned around to see a car, but it was too late. Everything went black. ••• "She lost a lot of blood due to this... Incident." I couldn't believe it. Amanda was in coma. Her right cheek was red, for some unknown reason. But... Amanda? I felt something during the kiss. Sparks? Do I like... Amanda? No. I like Maggie. Maggie. Maggie. Maggie. The Maggie who will never like me back. I sighed, and played around with my jacket zipper. Finn was right next to me. "She'll be okay, alright?" I shook my head. "Not when she's in a coma." "Huh.. I'm here. Is she okay?" I looked up and saw Maggie. Her face was tear stained, and so was Shan's and Keely's. "She's in a coma, tell me your definition of 'okay,'" Rachel piped up. "It's your fault Maggie." Maggie looked hurt. "No, I would never.." "You slapped her. She wanted to get away from you, from everybody so she went out. That car hit her and now she's in a coma." Tears were falling down her face. "I didn't mean to.." "Maggie," I finally spoke. "Why did you slap Amanda?" "Because.. I.." I waited. "I was jealous that you kissed her, okay?!" "It was a theatre kiss." "I know," she plopped down on a seat and sighed. "I know." I don't know what I felt. Anger? Hatred? Or pity? "Well, thanks to you, we lost Amanda. Are you happy?" I shouted at her. It was unusual. She looked at me, as if I had just punched her in the stomach. "It's not my fault!" "Then who's fault was it, huh?" It seemed like the whole room had held in its breath. Maggie weeped. "I.." I looked at her in disgust. "You... I hate you!" "But.. You said.." "He said nothing. You might as well get your pathetic little ass out of here right now because, little evil bitch, you've caused enough pain for today. It was just a motherfucking theatre kiss." Santana was yelling, and she stood up. Me, Finn, and Puck had to hold her back before she could start throwing punches at Maggie. My mind wandered off. I like Amanda? No. I... Think I.. Love Amanda. --------- There's your update
