I find the "popular forumers" to be downright rude half the time they post (note: while I am not part of that group, I admit to being rude at times myself). There are a few people who aren't. It's kind of funny how being well-liked coupled with almost total anonymity changes the way people act.

Eh...they change. And who defines popularity? There's never a definite answer.

 

This isn't new though. It's been like this for a very long time no?

 

Remember that Top 50 Forumers thread Pooh? What a failure. 

I agree with you. I made a thread about a rude mod( and didnt once list the name or name the person) and I got flooded with people accusing me of lying. If you don't post something " the right forumers" would like, you're bashed to no end for it. Everyone should be able to make threads despite what the "popular kids" would like. This isn't high school. We're allowed to have our own opinions.
