It's better to look for low fat/high protein foods that will keep you full and satisfied for a long time, than just avoiding carbs. Eggs, chicken, turkey, lean beef, unsweetened greek yogurt, protein shakes (read the label, some add a lot of sugar), beans, salad greens, cucumbers, broccoli, cabbage, lentils, low fat cheeses...etc etc. The Pinterest app is good for finding healthy low carb recipes. But hey, some carbs are good like oatmeal, whole wheat, and brown rice. Eat your grains and veggies otherwise the low carb diet will make you smell bad and be very constipated.
I'm 6'0ft 130 pounds, here is what I do. I smoke cigarettes because it blocks whatever that thing is that makes you feel hungry. I don't eat chocolate, cake, candy, or pie of any kind. I do drink one or two pops a day I also only eat twice a day. I'm a c.n.a. which probably also helps because it is physical labor. I do not work out. So that's how I do it.
