Female Gamers

  1. I'm not an attention whore for 1. 2 if you knew what it was like you would see my problem. 3 the main topic is how posers give all female gamers this general stereotype that many guys go by and its stupid.

  2. Op YOU are one of those people who is helping the stereotype. Nobody cares if you are a female gamer.

  3. You fit the stereotype well

  4. Ugh... Whatever you guys obviously don't get it. Mod please lock. This hate is stupid.

  5. What's a Zelda? Is it shiny? Can I have one?

  6. I'm a guy gamer and I don't see why anyone who is a true gamer should be expected to know anything about legend of zelda, I haven't gone near the stuff simply because it's not what I like to play.

it's preference not popularity for me.

  7. Zelda was an example like I said its of preference. But if you say you know alot about a game but really don't then you probably shouldn't be saying you know the game.

  8. My sense is op probably shouldn't be talking at all. Simple.

  9. Fair enough, but you don't have to be an expert in game knowledge even if you enjoy playing it?

  10. No not really but I mean some girls are like "Oh yeah I know that game. Its my favorite ask me anything." But then they know little to nothing about simple things you learn in game and you start to wonder if they even played it or if they just didn't pay attention to the story.

  11. I think that's being quite pedantic though.
Iv never seen, heard or had any kind of conversation like that

  12. I have. Its not a pleasant conversation. Basically main reason I used Legend of Zelda is I had a girl pass by a notice my Leagend of Zelda T-shirt she's said "I love Legend of Zelda." Of ccourse I was like thats cool. She went on to say "I love the little blondie you play as." Of course I had to ask if she knew what his name was and she was like "Its Zelda isn't it" I had explain that Zelda is the princess.

  13. At least there taking an interest in your shirt and making friendly conversation 

  14. I dunno what you're talking about.

Guys are usually all over girl gamers as soon as they know they're girls.

But girls get the stereotype of being bad because so many of them are. Obviously not all but that's up to you to prove it. As for being called a poser I hardly doubt many guys will judge a girl gamer's legitimacy much more than the initial disbelief. It's not like guy gamers are all that picky when it comes to actual contact with girls lmao.

  15. This also depends on what you are playing and in some cases can be associated more with the games community than the gamers themselves.

For example if you are playing something of a shit storm like call of duty on an xbox with a bunch of squeakers then you better expect when they hear your voice you are getting yelled at.

Some decent communities I can think of are diablo, star citizen, any smaller indie games, space engineers, kerbal, and chivalry.

  16. The best cod player I know is a girl. She's class at the game. ?

  17. ? I don't know anything about the games I play, but I buy them and play them, then I become good at them real quick and beat everyone? I obviously just play too much ??

  18. I think this is pretty much bullshit

  19. And your point is? In every community there are shit people. That doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't single us out and make us feel bad bout being a girl. Imagine if it was the ither way around. That girls ruled the gaming world and guys were singled out. Then try imagine how that feels. Maybe you'd understand.

  20. Probably get hated on if you're ugly.
