I've got to recommend the classic horror movies for the tensity and shock/scare factors - my favs are (all the originals not any remakes that have been done) 1. The Thing 2. The Exorcist 3. Poltergeist 4. Ju-on 5. Night of the Living Dead
What Lies Beneath kind of creeped me out when I was younger. But of course the classics, The Exorcist, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St, Friday the 13th, origional Omen movies, Psycho (not scary, but good) I love horror movies, so this isn't even a small dent in my favs.
I realize this is a TV series but THE WALKING DEAD is such an epic series. Anyone who has seen it agrees with me. If you haven't, trust me and watch it. My wife who hates the thought of zombies can't get enough.
OMG. I love The Walking Dead. Not only is the cast chosen well, but the story is scaryyy. IDK why, but my heart races whenever they're on the street or quiet road. As for Paranormal Activity, Dead Silence and Insidious. Such a waste of time. I laughed at Insidious then got creeped out because astral projection is not something to mess around with, pay attention to your damn kids all you parents out there. I laughed at Paranormal Activity then got mad because the boyfriend or whatever is stupid for continuing to record despite what was said to him about making them ghosties angry. And Dead Silence... -Sigh- The main character is a failure. He should have payed attention to all the details... I mean how dumb can you be!? d = ____ = b;;
I <3 horror movies even though they scare the out of me lol best horror film hmmm hard to pick a favorite...a few I enjoyed were Hostel 1
Shaun of the Dead is one of my favorites, it's comedy though. Hahaha. And Hostil is scary as shit. I'll never travel because of that, although I doubt anyone would wanna buy me... I HOPE THEY WOULDN'T. D; I don't taste good. I wouldn't be fun to torture because I'll pass out. My favorite color is Rainbow. These are obvious choices not to buy me, HAHAHA. Freddy vs. Jason was kinda dumb. I don't think they should have mixed the two.
Trick r' Treat was 3/5 in my opinion. It wasn't so much scary as it was funny. It has some morales to it. Haha. Always treat.
Ohhhh I just thought of another really good one I saw a few years ago. Try The Collector. For some reason I really enjoyed that one.
That's the same movie as Let me in I think. One version which is the one I think you're talking about, is the Russian or German version and Let me in is the English version. The Collector is scary!!! D; I saw it on Netflix.
i don't have a favorite horror film cos i love them all except for paranormal activity 1,2 and 3.. they are a complete disgrace to horror films
They can't be horror. I think they're thriller/comedy. :lol: There's not even blood in the first one or anything to make you squirm.
