I wake up in a dark room, all stainless steel. Nothing else. Then I see a little doggy bowl filled with water, and another, tasteless slop. Really?! Then I come up with a great idea. How about we all try to escape? One of us can be taken down, but about 10 of us?! We will be unbeatable. We all have great powers! Like flying, invisibility, telekinesis, even invincibility! Finally, a door opens in the room. I turn invisible instantly. I push the scientist aside, walk out, and go to my room. Sophie, my roommate, looks at me with concern. "Lemme guess.." she says. "You pissed someone off, so you went into solitude?" She knows me too well. "Yep" I reply with a sigh. "If you're gonna do that, then be careful. " "Uh duh. " With her being probably the oldest here, at age 17, paired with the youngest at age 12, she is like an older sister to me. I've been here the longest, but she understands the system better.
