Im a 11 year veteran of this game so I've witnessed the changes, as many other veterans have done. The money grabbing is actually insane now and whats crazy is this has absolutely turned into a pay to win game. I miss the days where ATA actually spoke to us and involved us in decisions now all they care about is filling their pockets and now that we're not filling their pockets as much they bring minors in. This app is already creepy asf like thankfully im a fully grown adult but some people on here with the things they say in dms need thier hard drives checked.
This is important to note The age rating changing is being made because of laws being passed around the world for age verification on the internet. I would imagine that ATA, who famously will rarely act on messages sent in DMs and gifts since they’re private, would be reluctant to try and implement ID verification into the game. that being said- there’s soooo much p2p here, rhe f2p players are being left in da dust. many reasons to do a spending blackout, but I think the age rating change is a lesser of two evils situation. The internet as we know it is falling to the wayside, and we have a small handful of very powerful but very evil people to thank for that
I will support this Blackout, but for other reasons, cause imo it has nothing to do with the kids. I will support this Blackout 'cause I think that a free game should give the same opportunity to all the players and some more features like Vip subs, Vip battlepass, etc, to spenders. Instead, the more time passes, the more PIMD becomes a pay-to-play game. All the players, spenders or not, are giving their feedback on xc events, or crossovers, etc... and ATA just don't listen. Most of hunts and avis are always the same. Etc... Etc... Etc... But this war against the age rating shouldn't be made on PIMD. 'Cause, yes, it's a PIMD problem, but it's happening OUT of this app, on the various app stores. So we should fight there. We should all agree about giving a bad review on app stores in which we say this is not a game for kids, if we want to try to change it. 'Cause we don't have to reach ATA's attention, we need to reach App Stores' attention too. ATA don't care about status on our profiles. But ATA and App Stores will care about our review on app stores. I've been DAYS and WEEKS looking for people to help me in this, even tonight in campus. The fact everyone just ignored me makes me think that people don't really care about this issue. ----------------------------------- For all the ones who are like: "ATA has put all these restrictions so that kids get bored and decide to uninstall PIMD"... Really? So why are the game ads on their social media accounts designed to attract kids? If you don't want kids on your app, don't advertise to attract kids, imo. They are also misleading advertisements because they do not represent the game as it really is. Portraying PIMD as it really is would have been a great way to bore kids before they even installed the game and keep them away. 😂 Also... I bet we all have been 13/14. ATA too. If we know kids will lie about their ages, ATA know that too. The restrictions will push them to lie, but will allow ATA to wash their hands of it and say: "We did what we had to do to make PIMD safe". So, maybe it's time to stop to pretend to live in Fairytale and open our eyes.
