  3. Hey "babe" I know I paid you to be my boyfriend but remember the little phone app called Pee Eye Em Dee? Well I'm the forum queen, I spend all day and night on forums and well... someone was talking about you!!! I told them I have a real boyfriend!! And they were shocked.. Idk why that is. I mean.. my friend's cat and I have had our fun but that's in the past. Anyway, you were called a "d****" so yeah just thought u should know. I'll send you 200$ by tomorrow morning as payment to renew our relationship.

  4. It's only 9:45pm bruv.
Oh dear, I forgot an apostrophe. My deepest apologies.
Oh, man, I wish I was rich enough to toss around that kind of money for a boyfriend. Am I, like, a sugar mommy in your scenario?

  5. 9:45pm is late enough. And in this "scenario" you're just.. you.. but paying off some "guy" to date you.

  6. Sounds essentially like a sugar mommy / sugar baby agreement. I'm flattered that you think I'm financially well off enough for that!

  9. Oh, #2 Queen of forums has arrived after her long bathe. Afraid to drop your phone into the tub? Don't worry, I'm sure your precious hail leaf will join you in the tub next time.

  10. Sorry, I couldn't help but try to entice them to join my boytoy harem.

Anyway. My gyno never mentioned any of those scary things you mentioned about the depo shot. I guess I could have researched it personally a bit though before going on it, but I also trust my gyno. I just remember her telling me that most women cease having a period when on it. I don't think it would have rly affected my decision at all though.

On the plus side, though, getting injected with the hormones every 3 months for like 1.25 years finally helped ease my fear of needles lol.

Also IUDs freak me out. :(

  11. Tbh everything medical kinda freaks me out, like even advil so i'm mildly impressed w myself that I was bold enough to even try the patch. But ya I learnt the stuff about bone thinning and tubal pregnancies from friends experiences and then personal research to verify that other ppl had similar issues. Is quite scary since I'm already at high risk of osteoporosis so I didn't even consider that one. And yay for getting over fears 🙆‍♀️

  12. I'm not afraid of things medically related in general, but I do try to not take any kind of painkiller (advil, ibuprofen, tylenol, etc) unless I'm in a lot of pain just because I think it's better to maybe learn to tolerate it? If that makes sense. Like if I have a minor headache, I'll try to power through.

The depo shot needles were a fucking nightmare. The nurse at the gyno always had to use a smaller needle than the needle the prescription came with because I'm smaller than ~the average woman~ and the needle was still painful as hell going in too. At this point, the needle for the flu shot is a dream.

  13. I'm kinda thankful I don't need to take birth control (for anything, not just to prevent babies). When I tried a few kinds in the past I got super sick with the rod, the pill, and like Muschi, had my period for 6 months with the shot. Turns out I have some weird allergy to synthetic hormones. I actually fell pregnant on the pill cause my body just attacked it and flushed it out of my system. 😂 If I had to go on anything again, it would have to be the IUD. I've heard some crazy shit about that though, and it scares me. So here's hoping Trash doesn't magically sprout a peen, and my ovaries stay cyst free. 🤞🏼 I hope one day there's a safer option for ya'll rather than the poison that exists!

  14. First off, OP may consider giving more informative forum titles. I admittedly do not check nor post here a lot (or at all) but when I occasionally do I usually ignore random titles like this. Never thought this would be about this topic unless I randomly clicked on it. Anyway, the reason I’m replying is because I found the replies quite interesting and relevant (except the whole boyfriend drama).

I’ve actually used the depo provera shot twice now and I found it quite effective and positive for me. First time was a few years ago and I got it again back in April but didn’t follow up on my most recent shot since I have to travel like 1 hr to get it (small town woes) and I’m lazy. I’m not too worried since I’m careful and it affects your fertility more than the 3 month interval you have to get it to ensure it works. Biggest side effect for me was some occasional spotting which was annoying since it sometimes happened for 2 weeks straight (the first time I got it, it seemed like a month) and some slight weight gain. But compared to the literal chugs of blood my body releases during my very short 3-4 day periods, I preferred the spotting and I’m actually looking forward to get it again.

Pills are a big no-no for me. Huge mood swings. I was crying about every little thing. That was like 5 years ago and I never went back.

I wonder what experiences have y’all had with an IUD. I’ve read a lot about it but I’d like to read about other women’s experiences with it.

To answer the OP’s query, it’s simply that different methods have different effects on people. For some people a certain method does not have any side effects or very little making it tolerable, while for others it’s misery, depression, and pain. Maybe try another method until you find one that doesn’t have so many side effects and works with your body.

  15. Honestly, since I'm taking it just to prevent children, I would love to just have my tubes tied. I don't desire children at all (and this is a decision I have thought very long about). Unfortunately, that isn't really a procedure that doctors will just perform willy-nilly ー for understandable reasons, because it isn't reversible and is a serious surgical procedure.

  16. why did ata give me 12nfs for this

  17. It probably wasn’t for that

  18. Like Maddi said, probably was not for this. Your forums' notifs most likely glitched.
