Thank you Des! It's true, this IS unfair to the longterm players. Refunds should apply to everyone who is currently active. Not just people who bought dorms recently. But devs are certainly not reading all these threads. If you want your voice HEARD you need to contact them directly through either the feedback button, or email support (support@athinkingape.com) They appreciate calm explanations with as many details as possible. And spamming them through feedback I'm sure is less effective than one long detailed email. Everyone should tell them how you feel. For me I feel like refunds should have been all or nothing. Only refunding recent 2 weeks of purchases actually made the issue worse instead of better. I feel that if they refunded all players who bought dorms in the past, it would help offset the cost we all are going to incur dropping our overpriced tutors. But I'm not only writing it here. ATA has options to contact them for a reason. Please use those methods so all our voices can be heard by the developers

Trust me guys... Pimd says they are waiting to make changes while monitoring feedback. They mean actually sending it to them. Not just posting here. And don't just complain, offer a solution that would be fair and explain why. Simply whining in an email will not get their attention
That's crap all of us that worked hard an spent billions on dorms months ago should get our money back also if we don't I'll never spend money on this game again I can promise that
They're doing just what they did after the T3/T4 mess. Many people emailed then, and ATA didn't care. Why should they give a now? They get their either way.
So if they don't care why post here either? They check the email and the feedback. I've had replies from them the majority of the times I've contacted them. They actually DO listen if you offer calm constructive feedback. No one is promising a fix, but if you want to be heard you should contact the people who did this. It might not fix things but it's sure going to be more effective than posting here
We WERE promised a fix after the T3/T4 update, and got the same responses you're getting now. "We're monitoring feedback" "We're working on a solution" "We will give everyone an update on progress soon" and what happened? Nothing. No progress updates, no fixes, no nothing. By all means, email support and firmly but calmly demand that concerns be addressed, and offer possible solutions yourselves. Just be aware that it is all, most likely, in vain. Fool me once, shame on you, ATA. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Yes but there are signs of life from devs. They already gave a partial refund so you can't claim they have done nothing. Granted it's not the change most of us would like to see but I think they are human, and make mistakes like all of us. And honestly bottom line, this is their jobs so they want our money. Yes kaw is more profitable but they still don't want every player who has ever spent money to quit. There is always hope. Not promises to fix but they ARE reading what people send. But if nobody sends anything then it's certain nothing will change
Honestly did you guys read reviews before downloading this game? I didn't. It showed up as a game I might like so I tried it. More effective to try and offer suggestions for improvement
As far as we know, you can't Calvin. That's another thing I have sent feedback on. It's far less important but it'd be nice to be able to "View All" like we can with awards
