I think there's a clear difference in the two aspects of Role play you are talking about. Playing a game as a character and getting involved in writing up a story as someone else with others, are completely different. You can't say everyone who plays Pimd is in the same category as those who involve themselves in fan fiction. Now I don't care what others do with themselves to pass time or enjoy. Each to their own. But you can't expect everyone to like it.
That's not going to happen lol. People always have an opinion on things. Now whether you choose to really care what people think, if it's something you enjoy, is another thing.
Just a side note to those who still hold rp to be childish and lame....what do actors make millions from? I rest my case.
