Everything was pitch black. There was obly nothingness. Nothing to see, no one to hear. Suddenly, a lightbulb flickered, but failed to revive itself. For the second time, it lit up, but again, it went out. On the third and final time, it lit up for a split second and went out for what seemed like forever and when there seemed to be no hope left, it flickered on. Something started to turn its wheels in my head and I found myself gasping for breath as my eyes shot open. An uncomfortable matt supported my strengthless body as it layed limply. The light that I saw was unbearably bright. I couldn't look directly into it without feeling a certain amount of pain, so I turned my head to the right, and there was Andy, with eyes wide, staring at me. That's when all the memories of what had happened had rushed back into me head. Upsetted by this sight, I turned my head to the left, but there was James watching me vigilantly which also made me feel uncomfortable, so I was forced to shut my eyes and turn my head towards the ceiling. "T...," Anthony started,"You don't know how sorry I am for this, but you do know that I didn't mean to hit you. Forgive me. Please don't do this. Look at me. I love you..." He finished his sentence as though he wanted to say something more, but had decided not to. I didn't respond to his pleading. I didn't want to deal with anything anymore. All this drama was making me dizzy. He waited, so I gave him the best answer I could. "Maybe." There was a hesitation between my response and his to mine. "Maybe what?" "Maybe everything. Maybe nothing. Just... Maybe." "Alright, babe. If that's all you can give me right now, I'll take it." "Good."
